Selected User Reviews For Xbox Wireless Controller - Grey And Blue
The product was delivered on time, but the headphone jack was damaged. Only when I hold the headphones at a certain angle does it work. The bumper on my previous controller was broken. Please, Microsoft, put more thought into these controllers; loyal, broke users like myself are tired of spending $60 on these.
After only 20 minutes of use, the controller stopped working. It was unable to connect to the Xbox 360. When I was working, everything was fine; the controls behaved just like any other controller. I asked for a replacement and am crossing my fingers that it will work. Unfortunately, they are currently out of stock, so the order will take a long time to arrive. Ugh.
After only a few days of use, the right trigger button on top developed a problem with the internal spring and began to work intermittently almost immediately. There appear to be quality control issues with the newer Xbox One S controllers, and it doesn't matter whether you buy them new or used; both have issues. I ordered the blue and grey, but it had issues with the spring in the right trigger button, so I returned it and replaced it with the blue, which had drifting issues. Only the black and white ones are unaffected by such problems, so if you need new ones, stick to those. Yes, the blue and grey one is lovely, but it serves no purpose other than allowing you to play.
This controler was purchased to replace the one that came with my Xbox One because one of the shoulder buttons on that one had broken off. I'm tempted to just use the broken one instead of this one because this one constantly freezes, and I've tried updating the firmware but there isn't one! And I'm not the only one who struggles with this issue. Don't buy this controller; it's a waste of money; instead, go to Gamestop and buy a refurbished one if you can't find one of the originals.
- Keep it simple and sweet. This controller has a fantastic look and feel to it. At such a low cost (controllers typically cost $60-$100), it's hard to pass up. This is a fantastic controller (especially for those with custom colors). Instead of using design labs or elite controllers, you can save money by using this controller.
Because this was a gift for my husband, I don't know much about Xbox controllers, but he likes the color and thinks it's a lovely controller. The back texture is nice, and it seems to hold up as well as the others he's had in the past. There is an audio jack on this one, which is convenient. Overall, I think it was a great purchase. I'm not familiar with Xbox controllers, and this was a gift for my husband, but he likes the color and thinks it's a very attractive controller. The back texture is nice, and it seems to hold up as well as the others he's had in the past. There is an audio jack on this one, which is convenient. Overall, I believe it was a wonderful present.
I bought one and the headphone jack didn't work, so I returned it for a second one with the same issue. I went to Best Buy to get a third one, and while the headphones worked, the joystick was constantly drifting left or right. I'm getting rid of my Xbox and replacing it with a Playstation. I'm a PlayStation guy through and through, but I got my first Xbox One on a good trade, and now all of my accessories are broken, leaving me with only the console (kinect stopped working after 6 months, left bumper fell out of original controller after 1 year, and all three brand new controllers I bought were assembled by children in sweat shops and don't work properly). I'm probably just going to toss the console in the trash so that no one else has to deal with Microsoft and their products that are made with child labor.
during the initial week This was a Christmas present for my son, and for the first week, it worked perfectly. Then he started having trouble connecting to the controller wirelessly, which I assumed was due to a lack of batteries. I replaced the batteries and assumed everything was fine until he mentioned that his controller wasn't working last week. Because the new one still doesn't connect, he's been using our backup controller, which I've looked at and replaced batteries (again) with no success. It's too bad, because if he'd told me sooner, I would have returned it. Consider switching to a different controller.
