They do, in fact. My left thumb stick was broken after I dropped my series x controller. This item can easily be replaced.
These aren't made of metal, so don't get your hopes up. The top and sides of these are soft rubber coated, just like the original Xbox One controller joysticks.

The product that was sent did not fit properly once it was installed. There is interference with the controller's frame at the base of the stick. When I looked at the box it came in, I noticed that the correct product's barcode label was covering up an old label. I carefully peeled it back to reveal the thumbstick for the Nintendo Switch Pro controller. The mount is too far into the base of the thumb stick for these to work. I'm not sure who I should call first: Amazon or TOMSIN. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I reordered because it was inexpensive and others had previously received the correct item; unfortunately, I received the mislabeled item the first time; changed review from 1 to 3 stars because of the hassle; however, quality product once I received the correct piece.
The quality appears to be excellent, and the kit that comes with it is extremely useful for all controller modifications. I just wanted to let you know that these controllers aren't compatible with the PlayStation 5. They fit and appear to be in good condition until you tighten the middle battery screw. If you leave it loose, it appears to be fine again, but once you replace the shell, it will begin to rub again, especially in the UP direction, and may become stuck. br>br>I realize these weren't advertised for PS5, but I just wanted to make sure they didn't work.
I bought this in the hope of being able to use it to replace the thumbstick on a Steelseries Nimbus controller that had become worn out. I also have an Xbox One Controller, and the thumbsticks appeared to be identical from the outside, but the dimensions aren't identical, so the experiment failed. The tools, on the other hand, were perfect for opening up the Nimbus controller and removing the small control board on which the thumbsticks are mounted. I ended up simply swapping the left and right thumbsticks (since the left is the one that gets used the most and is worn down, whereas the right is fine) and covering both with silicone covers. Replacement parts for Steelseries Nimbus game controllers do not appear to be on the market.
This left only the slick plastic, which was unsuitable for anything other than Tetris levels 1 and 2. br>br>I looked for things like stick grips that go over top of the original stick, but they were expensive, raised the height of the stick, and I was worried they wouldn't fit because my stick was missing the rubber: I was afraid I would break something because I had never taken any of my controllers apart before, but the process was incredibly simple thanks to the kit's extremely useful tools. The new stick looks and functions exactly like the old one. I only had to replace one thumb stick because the other was in perfect working order, and now I have a spare! The only thing that could make it better is if instructions on how to disassemble the various controllers were included. However, I was able to find instructions on the internet that made the process very straightforward. br>br>I will purchase again if the need arises. All I have to do now is keep my controllers out of reach of my son!.
I was about to sell my console when I made the decision to do so. I called Gamestop to see if I'd still get the full value for my trade-in for cash. There would be a $30 charge for the refurbishment. br>br>On Amazon, I came across this product. br>br>Very simple and straightforward to set up. I used ifixit to get my I instructions. com. Follow the prompts to find the console or accessories that you want. br>br>A faint hint of lightness, like a faded, can be seen with the naked eye. The old grip is worn, as you can see, but it appears to be a darker red. I don't believe they got the color exactly right, but it appears to be doable and unnoticeable to the majority of people. br>br>Anyway, this product restored the value of my trade, so I appreciate it.
To replace my worn-out and tattered joysticks, I purchased new ones. These new TOMSIN controllers look and feel exactly like factory original XBOX controllers; in fact, they could be original OEM parts, but I'm not sure. br>br>With the included tools, installation was simple; they provide more tools than are actually necessary, which is nice. br>br>Side benefit: Now that I know how to disassemble an Xbox controller for cleaning and troubleshooting, and that I have the tools to do so, I'm ready to go.
I've discovered that the tolerance on these, like most other joysticks, is slightly off. It's usually enough to make it so that you can't put the face shell on properly, which is exactly what's going on here. I haven't found any other brands that don't have this problem, but you won't be able to fully tighten all of your screws with these because the joystick will become stuck in one direction.
Cleaning takes less than ten minutes.
