Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell - Xbox

Having never played a game as challenging as this one when it was released, when i played it for the first time, I was fascinated. It was love at first sight for me. There are few games that give you the satisfaction of beating SC titles, and you'll have to learn the genre and play style before you'll be able to gain satisfaction. It gets even better when you become a SC pro and are able to sneak around undetected by guards and other enemies, making you feel like the world's greatest badass. In case you have never played an sc game, where better to start than at The first game in the series was the first game in the series. If you've played other games in the series but not this one, start from the beginning and see where it all began.

A $12 disc which does not even load after a week of waiting has been delivered to me. There is a problem with this disc on your Xbox. If you wish to use an Xbox game, DVD, or audio CD, make sure it is. Aside from being pissed, I'm also mad. I noticed that there are huge scratches on the disc, and it seems that someone has tried to resurface it (but unsuccessfully). It has been a long time since I purchased this disc for my Xbox so I can update and backup my now outdated collection of games and discs. It will only lead to disappointment and misdirection. There is nothing close to "like new" about this disc.

Gameplay from the first installment in the Splinter Cell series can be seen here. There are some detracting aspects to the game play, such as the fact that you have to lay down bodies to open doors, which is actually resolved in later games, but it is still a lot of fun. While I admit I used online walkthroughs for some of the tougher areas of the game, I was able to find my own ways to advance through some of the levels on my own. Getting to the end of this game in stealth mode is fun and exciting, as there are a variety of challenges. The simple fact that this Splinter Cell series is not your typical shooter is one of the reasons I love them. Unlike other games, there are some levels where your opponent is likely to fail if you kill them!.

A scratched up old copy in a cheap CD case was all I expected. My purchase came in a box with a disc in perfect condition in the original game case (though there was some wear on the box and I did not receive the manual, but I didn't need it for the purpose of the game).

Despite being advertised with a book insert, this was actually a book insert to a different game. Reason why I only gave 4 stars is that there were no instructions. Therefore, we cannot advertise the book as accurately as we do the movie.

When I received the game, it came with the original green Xbox DVD box and the manual inside. I played the game and thoroughly enjoyed Also, I own the Tom Clancy demo disk that came with bonus levels, so I already have the whole As far as the game disk itself is concerned, it's working fine.

I received my order earlier than I expected, however, it was not the version that I had seen The Platinum Hits version of the song was used. I could still use it on my Xbox with the softmod.
