Questions & Answers

Is it equipped with a camera screw mount at the bottom of the wall mount?

It does not have a screw on the bottom, from what I remember when I bought it years ago. There are only two that can hold against something in the back. *br> Camera slides onto the tripod. I don't recall ever having an issue with it being able to stay still if it's properly leveled.

The first Kinect mount you should consider is this one
3/5

I will not let you down My Kinect sensor is too low, so I have tried several different products to raise its height. There's a limited amount of space in front of the tv, and certain games require you to step backwards out to seven feet This means I have to move 8 feet from the sensor, which is not feasible in my living room. Several media shelves from this company did not work on my TV, and the tv mount from this company is worthless. After reaching the end of my tether for two months, I finally broke down and got my hands on this, spent only about five minutes setting it up, and then started enjoying it

It was a simple installation process. There is nothing but drywall on my wall It is completely devoid of studs. With the anchors in place, I am confident that the mount will hold for a long time before I have To get this setup in minutes, all you need is a cordless drill, a medium sized bit (1/4 inch or so) and a Phillips head driver bit. Among the unique features of this mount is that you can forego the wall bracket if you want to mount the sensor on a tripod instead. Even though it is unlikely many can use it in that way, it could be helpful in other scenarios as well, particularly if you are using it with open source PC software for other applications. It's better than The Xbox is used a lot.

The product is acceptable, but the quality is low and it is The purpose of this wall mount is to maximize the viewing experience on the TV In the TV room where our Xbox 360 Kinect is located, there is a rather small space
4/5

The Kinect, however, does not allow vertical adjustments - I did not realize this until I started testing it. Therefore, you have to align the front of the sensor with the center of the housing on your own. You can see the line of your viewing area. Because of the furniture alignment in our TV room, I had to modify the wall mount so that it stands out from the wall by about 3cm to the left. I did this by simply positioning each of the left-facing walls at a slight angle. To mount the hand screw mounts, I used three 1cm plastic spacers and extra screws It was easy to attach the mounting plate to the wall (I just happened to have enough screws and spacers from another project lying around). Since walls are difficult to rotate for adjustment, this unit should have a swivel on the mount, so it could be adjusted with a swivel. )

Alas, the screws are of rather poor quality too. Even after drilling a pilot hole in the first one, the head of one of the screws snapped off as I was screwing it into a wall stud. There was a bunch in my workshop, which was fortunate. I would like to give you the following advice before you begin It is a good idea to have some spacers, washers, longer screws and extra drywall mounts on hand in case you need to reposition the fixture.

I have a small problem with it, but it seems to work
5/5

In the beginning, the product works well and does exactly what it says on the box. Because of the flaw that it has, which is that it does not hold the Kinect evenly on the wall, I would not return it. The side of this mount that tilts down seems to tilt more than its opposite side. My suspicion is that it is a problem with the mounting system of the mount and not an error in the installation as I verified the level of everything. In addition, my Kinect is securely attached to the wall and I do not have any doubts about it staying up there for long. A TV mount would not work for me since the TV sticks out when mounted on the wall. My principal requirement was a table on wheels as I thought that would take up too much space. However, this was the only way to go and it gave me an extra foot or two of play space because the sensor was mounted high up. This item would be a good purchase for me to get again, as well as recommending it to others, however please make sure your wife, fiancee, or girlfriend knows exactly how it will look when it is Wire will hang down the wall, i. e. , the wire will hang As long as I know, they don't seem to like it much at all.

Installing the Xbox 360 Kinect on a wall
5/5

The size of my bedroom is about 12 feet by 11 feet, and I am using my Kinect to measure it. If you are six, the Kinect will ask you to measure it If I were to use it from that distance, that would run me into the furniture that is located on the opposite wall. Despite my excitement, when choosing the "Great" spot, I kept running into my closet and my bed, and couldn't reach some spots because I kept running into my nightstand - I then had to stop and turn around. Fun is not the only thing to do. Based on the reviews and the description, I assumed it would be perfect for my needs. And it was awesome! After only 10 minutes and a mere $10, I had the Kinect mounted to the wall above my mirror, adding another 1-inch to the room There is a 2 foot area for playing. A motorized screwdriver worked just as well, and the directions recommend using a drill (or a stud finder to see if there were any studs in the wall). You need to put plastic bases in first, and then you need to screw in the screws. The only "stud-like thing" about me is that In order to drill the screws directly into the wall, I marked the hole locations with a pencil and drilled There is a LOT of durability to it. What surprised me was how sturdy the mount turned out to be. On a square there is a - If the screws do not go in perfectly flat, it is okay. Even when 3/4 screws were screwed in crooked, the plastic piece would slide over mine. Afterwards there is a base that clips on to the Kinect (with the switch in the back left hand corner) and the plastic piece is slid onto this and snapped In addition to being very sturdy, it does the job I need it to. The conclusion is This is amazing! It's so good to have such a would recommend this product to anyone, especially those who are concerned about the safety of their Kinect. It is a very simple process to assemble. It's impossible to believe this is so.
