I'll be completely honest here I'm not quite sure. On my setup, it likely just sits on the stand, providing a nice aesthetic aspect. Considering the stand is so loose and it's so loose, I don't think it will help too much.

This is just a plastic stand. The controller that fits in it is available separately and can be used with normal batteries or a play and charge kit from Xbox.

My name is I. My controller could not even be held by the stand. There is no logical reason why they would design a stand specifically for a controller yet the controller cannot settle perfectly into it without bumping into it or falling completely out of the stand. I figure it's because my controller is wired, so it's always slightly pulled. So this would be best suited for wireless 360 controllers located in an area that would not require you to reach round it in order to pick up I am sure it will work and look great then.
It didn't do me good to leave my controllers in a drawer for so long despite the fact that I don't game on my 360 as much as I used to. There is a compartment for batteries in this stand, so it works well.
The price for plastic is a little too high for the quality. In any case, it fits well. The result is good for me.
