They just don't seem to fit together. I'm not sure why the holes were cut so far apart, but this is the primary reason it doesn't work. I wouldn't recommend it until the problem is resolved. Otherwise, the skin appears to be in good condition, but I'm worried that the stickiness will wear off if it's so badly cut. I've seen similar shoddy workmanship before.
The console is wrapped in a material that I really like. It appears to be of a good standard. But the only thing I think would have improved it is if the controller wrap had covered the entire frontside. It would also be ideal if the wrap could glow in the dark.
To begin with, none of the cutouts are symmetrical. Even when the weather is hot. The vinyl creases the second time you apply heat. I don't believe the one reviewer who said it worked out fine with a little patience. I've wrapped an entire vehicle with less difficulty in the past. It's a rectangular shape with a flat edge on one side. It could have been good if the cutouts were correct. I'm peeling this off and throwing it away right now.
Apply with patience. Those who have written alignment reviews, thank you. Simply be patient. When I first started, mine was completely off the mark. You can put it on and take it off multiple times before it loses its adhesive. I started at the top and worked my way down, lining up the power button and edges. I also adhered it to the top and stretched it out evenly. This decal brings back a lot of memories for me, and I think it's more fun than the $220 expansion card. It's well worth the $14 if you have a certain amount of patience.
They didn't cut the vinyl completely through, so you couldn't even remove it from the paper to place it on the system/controllers. I tried for 30 minutes to remove it from the paper without tearing it, but it was impossible. One of the controller covers had cuts in it that made no sense. I was able to remove one controller cover and place it on the controller, but it was riddled with nicks and "hang-ups. " It would have lasted a week tops, and it looked terrible, thanks to the bad cut job. I tried wrapping the system to see if I could save it, but it didn't work. The vinyl was ripping and not being cut all the way through. br>br>I used to work in a sign shop for years, and when the blade was dull, it was a sign that something was wrong. I was simply the unlucky one who happened to be present at the time this appeared to occur.
It gave the Xbox some personality and was much easier to set up than I had anticipated.
The skin appears to be lovely and feels wonderful; the only problem is the fit. I tried stretching it out a little, but it was impossible to make it fit perfectly. However, it continues to look fantastic. I'll have to wait and see how it holds up.
My Xbox Series X skin is excellent, if not outstanding. The material isn't thin in thickness. I expected it to be flimsy, and it was. It was a bit difficult to put on. I could align it multiple times without fear of it losing its stickiness if it wasn't on straight. It's the right size. All of the holes are in their proper locations. As far as the skin on the other side of the world. it's ok. I should have been forced to make it so that it covers the entire front of the controller. The material is identical to that of the console.
