The controller on the regular Xbox was too big, and the controller on the PlayStation is a little too small. This is the pinnacle of gaming controllers. I was a little skeptical when the instructions said it worked with Windows XP. What's more, it works right away with Windows 10 (which will be fully updated in June of this year). br>br>I needed to scratch a nostalgia itch, and Star Wars Episode 1 Pod Racer was on sale on steam for just over $3. But I didn't want a keyboard because I think I played that game on the Nintendo 64! I was adamant about not paying the $15-plus fee. On the Nintendo Switch, it costs $20. Unfortunately, during the pandemic, I sold my Xbox 360 and gave away all four controllers, forgetting that I had a cable to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to my computer. A new Xbox 360 controller costs $45, but this one was only about $13. I was skeptical because I'd purchased a number of shoddy knockoff controllers in the past. The center button does not have the official Xbox logo, but that is the only difference I noticed. Although I don't have the original controller to compare it to, this satisfied my nostalgia for gaming. I'm thinking about getting a second one so my son can play with me when he's older. br>br>Oh, and a wired controller will never require batteries to be replaced in the middle of a game, and it will be lighter. It satisfies my needs. In a heartbeat, I would buy it again.
The first thing I noticed about this controller is that it has a bad feel to it. The joysticks are clumsy in a way that's difficult to describe; the closest I can come is to describe them as having a strange deadzone. br>br>Right out of the box, I despised how it felt and decided to stick with my old controller, a ten-year-old RockCandy that was beginning to show its age. That should speak volumes about how bad this controller is; I preferred my old knockoff controller to it. br>br>After a while, I had no choice but to return to this one, which I detested. Recently, something inside the right joystick broke, and it no longer springs back like it should, rendering it nearly unusable because the joystick inputs something you're not doing. I'm not the type to smack or throw controllers; instead, I use them and put them away gently on my desk. Overall, it lasted less than a year of light use, and the experience was terrible the entire time.
I haven't used an Xbox 360 controller in a long time, but this one from PomisGam feels and performs just like one. There was no need to install any drivers because Windows recognized it right away. The vibration motors are even built into the controller, so when I was playing pinball, I could feel the controller shaking/vibrating as the ball hit various objects (this was for Pinball FX 3). There was no lag in communication, which is exactly what an arcade game like Pinball requires. br>The build quality is excellent, and despite the fact that I've only had it for a few days, I believe it will last a long time.
The remote arrived in a nice, sturdy box and was not damaged in transit! It is compatible with the Xbox 360. My son preferred it to the wireless versions because it was wired and thus slimmer and lighter to hold. I haven't tried it on a computer yet, but it comes with instructions in case it doesn't work. This product has exceeded my expectations!.
Doesn't keep its calibration. During calibration and in games, the left joystick jumps around a lot. br>Controller is intended for use in games. This controller is completely ineffective. For about a week, it worked fine, but then it began to lose calibration, and the left joystick began to move around the screen all by itself. This is simply a defective or defective unit.
I've owned a number of 360-style controllers, including one similar to this one. The first one I received appears to be in good working order; however, the left stick is constantly glitching and moving around, so I ordered another. I tried several times to calibrate but had no luck. Hopefully, the business will be able to send a replacement.
This is a fantastic controller. It's smooth, and the joystick grips add to the comfort, and it also works with our computer. I'll buy from them again without a doubt.
