The controller performs admirably for the most part. br>br>The first time I used it, which was about two weeks ago, it turned off on its own. However, it has not occurred again. br>br>The most serious issue is that the 360 can't be turned on with the controller. The power button must be pressed to turn the system on. For me, it's not a big deal, but it can be inconvenient.
We bought this wireless controller for my son's birthday after he borrowed one from a friend and enjoyed not having to deal with the cord. It's functioning properly.
Unfortunately, the analog stick responses aren't as precise as they should be. My father still uses an Xbox 360 and has an old controller. There's a lot of action in the sticks, so I figured getting him a new controller would help him improve his game. With a simple press, this controller jolts way too fast. For first-person shooter games such as Call of Duty, it is not accurate. Do not make a purchase.
So far, everything has gone well! It was a Christmas present for my 13-year-old son. DuMb mOm didn't notice (or care) that it was a knockoff right away when he opened it, but my son did! lol My brother agreed with me and stated that not all knockoffs are bad. This appears to be a fantastic one! It appears to be exactly as shown in the image. He's had no problems and is very pleased with his new wireless controller. I was also pleased with the price and the speed with which it was delivered.
I had an old controller that only half of the buttons worked on, so I decided it was time to get rid of it. This one arrived quickly and connected easily (easier than any other xbox controller I've ever set up), and it appears to be of comparable quality to the name brand controller. I'm hoping it lasts at least as long as this 360.
What I was looking for. I have an old Xbox 360 console, and since the consoles are no longer manufactured, neither are the controllers. I went to Best Buy and Wal-Mart, but neither of them had any co trolleys that were even compatible with the Xbox 360. Following a thorough examination of this controller, I made the decision to purchase it. It appeals to me. It connected to my Xbox 360 with ease, and it fits comfortably in my hands, with the added benefit of vibration.
These controllers came in twos for me. One had a dead spot to the southwest (so-called "southwest dead spot"). (so to speak) of the analog stick on the left. When you point in that direction, the input simply ceases to be registered. You can imagine how annoying it is to be strafing away from a boss or in the middle of a firefight when your character just stops running. The other had a dead spot in the right analog stick, but in the exact same location. Keep your money in your wallet and avoid going there.
It's just like the original.
