Questions & Answers

Will there be a problem with compatibility on my PC?

You will use the controller the same way you would with the xbox 360

Is this something you can use for games like Batman Arkham and Fallout? Game controllers are so awkward to use for me since I am new to games. ?

As far as I know, this Xbox arcade stick has only thumb pads. Fighting games are the only things that this arcade stick can be used for. It is true that Analog sticks can also be used with madcat arcade sticks.

Do you know if this is compatible with Windows 8? Do you have any issues? Is that okay?

Using it on Windows 8 is a breeze, and it works as a standard X360 pad so that you can simply plug it in and play. If you are planning to use other X360 controllers besides this one, you can use any of the available drivers for them.

Do you think this can be used for games like Call of Duty and Doom? Is it just that I can't figure out how to use the Xbox ?

In the event that you manage to get the arcade stick to work with the game, the stick is not analog (an entire There are only 8 holes in the stick It doesn't respond to the direction the user is aiming in (so aiming isn't accurate). You will also need to use the stick for aiming and the buttons for movement, so it isn't very convenient. When playing shooting games, you should use a peripheral with two analog sticks rather than a keyboard and mouse (Keyboard and mouse are the most effective tools for playing shooting games).

This is a great driver for the The stick works great on the PC and I'm currently playing SSFIV AE with it
5/5

In the beginning, the stick was incompatible with my PC because it had Windows 7 x64 installed. Here are the RAPs. It was installed, but the NX driver was not found by Windows. Because of this, I couldn't use the stick with my PC at first. Here are some things that you need to do 2. . . Drivers for xbox 360 accessories can be downloaded from Microsoft's website. ** 2. To use RAP, select it from device manager. Click the Update Driver button to update NX. 3.
My PC contains a list of drivers that I can manually choose. The fourth point Then choose the Microsoft gamepad class, and then select the Xbox 360 controller 2009 version (it says it's not compatible but attempt it anyway). Now the stick should work, since you've overridden the original bad driver with the working one from the xbox 360 controller. There are buttons on top of the page You can adjust the sensitivity on the top notch.

Now is the time to buy it, so stop looking
5/5

I am in awe of this thing. During one of our shared conversations, I drilled into my head the importance of this stick. It was very difficult and I did a lot of research before buying There's nothing I don't like about In a lot of ways, it made me nostalgic for my old arcade days of playing Street Fighter II. There is a lot to like about this. The build quality is great, it feels like a tank and is highly responsive. I have tried it on both an XBOX and PC, and both work much better than I Also, just for the heck of it, I replaced the buttons with seimitsu buttons just for the heck of it. I took maybe 10 minutes to complete. Having personally loved the feedback of the seimitsu, I am sure that a lot of people are going to appreciate the sensitivity of the sanwa's that come with the game more. It is the only stick I can recommend as a beginner in the 'fightstick' arena, and I am in love with it. The following comparison table I found online about input lag is useful It's Hori's turn to win! I love *br*br*br.

stick for a tournament or arcade game
5/5

The Hori Rap VX-U is the ideal arcade stick if you are looking for a very, very good quality stick This is Kai SA. A few weeks ago, I was looking for a new stick to replace my old MadCatz Standard Edition, so I browsed Amazon and chose this one after some thought. This one or one of the newer MadCatz sticks was all I really needed, since I was not only interested in a stick at the $100 range, but one that also has a decent grip It was priced between $150 and $200, but I knew I could rely on it. In the end, I chose this one because I really enjoyed the design, not necessarily because I thought it was more superior to its competition. Besides the buttons on the stick and the square gate in the joystick, the stick and buttons are all Sanwa. Personally, I do not mind either one, but others might. At the very least, you can modify this baby and replace the circular gate with an octagonal one if you would like. The buttons are spread out fairly evenly, so you shouldn't feel constrained when using If you want to replace the buttons and art on this, you will void your warranty. I don't know how easy that is, but if you do, keep in mind that it will Currently you can not choose the crosspad on this stick, even though you have likely heard that it is not possible (you can only select Left Stick or Right Stick), but I haven't had any issues with it. It is true that the Left Stick can cause undesired inputs and movement with MadCatz sticks, but I am certain that you will not encounter that problem In the event you were looking for a different stick due to this information, or if it was making you afraid to try this one, that's okay. Among the coolest things about this stick is that you can rearrange some of the buttons, something that you cannot do on the MadCatz one. There seems to be a problem with the start button being too close to the other buttons and even pausing the game by accident can disqualify you in There's a lever at the top that allows you to switch the Start and Back buttons, so that the Start button is at the top and there's no way you can hit it unless you have gigantic fingers. Left Stick Button and Right Stick Button can also be used to switch LB and RB, although I can't imagine why you would need to since I haven't needed to use them since I have never needed Yet despite all that, I have never accidentally hit the Start Button, and it seems like even unconsciously, you would have a very difficult time doing so, unless of course The VX-class is a high-performance fighter I was looking for a more substantial weapon, because the MadCatz SE was prone to flying away from me during a fight when things got hectic. SA Kai has a decent weight to it. The pad on the bottom makes sure it stays put beautifully and it should remain stable. Also, there are grips on the side, which makes it easy to pick up and handle. There is a pretty neat way to display this information, one that is not necessarily necessary but is a novelty I am enjoying. There's a compartment on the top side of the stick where you can store the USB cord, but it's really small and it has to be squeezed in– It would have been better if the compartment had been In terms of the length of the cord, it's not hard to insert it, but it would have been easier if the cord was wider and larger, like on the Cross Tekken sticks from MadCatz. Only one real complaint with the stick, and it's a minor one. I think this is an excellent stick all in all. The RAP VX-400 has been my go-to product for a while now It's been a couple weeks now without any problems with SA Kai. If you sweat a lot, the art can begin to come off. It seems tough enough to last quite awhile, though my experience suggesting it would be a bit less durable. The rest of this stick is perfect to recommend to a fighting game fan.

This fight stick is excellent
5/5

In the past few console generations, I have purchased a few fight sticks, although I am not an expert. I haven't paid more than $100 for a game yet, and I can say that I am pleased with the purchase.
I am having a good time with this stick since it came out when Injustice was released. As if it were a tank, this thing is built. The stick and buttons are of arcade quality. My only wish would have been an octo plate for the stick since the spacing feels nice. Everything about it feels very responsive. I know pros will hate me for this, but I wish it came with one. My performance with it has improved significantly since I purchased it and installed While you're not supposed to ride the gate, as a noob, it's sometimes difficult to get those circles right without the guide.

Definitely worth the purchase. A Octo gate is a very easy to install option if you would like one.

This is an awesome The ticking clock can take a beating and keep on going
4/5

The game pad is great. I sometimes smash it to pieces, but it keeps getting back in action. Normally, I would give this a 5 star rating, but I've just purchased a Mad Catz TE for my X1. As a result, I had to return the mad catz, as it wasn't compatible with my Mad catz piece is distinguished by its ease of use and its weight, both of which make it five stars. There is a difference between the hori and the TE fightstick. It's not too light, but if you have used the TE stick then you will notice that the hori is a lighter stick. In the Hori, the back cover is held in place by screws. The stick does not provide the same ease of use The picture on the Hori can't really be customized if even if you wanted to. Extra parts would have to be purchased. In terms of value for money, the Hori has exceeded my expectations. I haven't encountered any problems with this stick. if I had not used the TE stick, I would have given it a 5 star rating. This stick is a 4 star because of the small details that make it stand out. This is a great stick, you should buy it.
