I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a great, but not modding stick
4/5

Let me say that this is, if not the best arcade stick on the market, at least the best out of the box. This is the arcade stick for you if you don't intend to modify your stick in any way, as well as if you don't mind having only one console compatible with your stick. Although I can recommend this for those of you who enjoy modifying your arcade sticks, I cannot recommend it for those of you who do not. Several factors contribute to this, with the first one being that there is very little room for customizing on the internal side. There is very little room to mount additional PCBs or apply adhesive weights on the Fighting Edge because of its short vertical height and short horizontal span. As compared to previous Hori products, including the original HRAPs and the Soul Calibur V Stick, the Fighting Edge fails to deliver in this regard. Furthermore, the lack of hardware Start and Select buttons means that you'll need to drill a hole in your case to install any dual mod, which is a real letdown given that they could have easily given us those buttons out of the box as opposed to This stick is very similar to the earlier review but I have one more concern regarding the aforementioned short horizontal span of the interior section, and that one concern has to do with Those with sticks that measure over 18" at their widest point won't be able to comfortably rest the stick in their laps due to the small area on the bottom plate. The only flaw here is the insufficient cover on the tube. This does really detract from an otherwise well made In addition, it would be nice if the next version of Fighting Edge sticks had some sort of plastic reinforcement beneath the panel, just as the Soul Calibur V Stick has, but that is less of a downside per se as it is a matter of In conclusion, I believe this is a great stick that I would recommend to the majority of people, including myself. It may be hard to mod this if you intend to purchase this with the intention of modding it because there is little space and the touch panel makes it difficult.

Spending $200 is a waste
3/5

It works great and the stick feels great. I use it for PC. There are no clicks at all on the buttons. My rating is 3/5 because it continuously enters config mode by itself, and unlike other USB devices, it can only be exited by unplugging and plugging it back in, then restarting the computer. * Update * This software has become an absolute nightmare to use - the configuration bug happens every 20 minutes or so. If I had gone for MaddCatz, I would have been thrilled. *update As of 9/2/15, the LT and RT buttons are both registered as the same input on Windows. In the end, the stick is no longer usable. The brand I'll be purchasing will be different from the one I was using before. My friends and I all follow the same advice don't touch this brand. Why even take the risk? Similarly, if you think my review was "unhelpful," tell us why in the comments. It was my experience with this product that I found to be negative. My goal was to have the best fight stick, but it didn't work out that way. I will try to clarify what exactly would happen with this stick, since I assume I wasn't clear enough. I found the following video of what I had to do with my fightstick The palm somehow triggers "config mode," which disables the entire touch screen, even the buttons - The configuration mode just keeps looping over and over. - Disconnect the plug after you've finished- Connect it back to the wall
br>- Scrambled inputs are given (light punch may be heavy kick just like that). You'll not be able to fix this by rebinding the buttons in Street Fighter. The input A will be recorded as Y. The input B may also be recorded as Y. I am - It is necessary to restart a PC to make the buttons work properly again if you use it. There is no fix for this problem when the controller setup is edited in Windows* - This problem will occur in a few minutes unless you have the fightstick locked from entering config mode all the time.

I outright unplugged the touchpad to stop it from happening, which worked well until the buttons broke themselves. I agree, this is a great fightstick that offers a sleek design and a powerful punch. I like the feel of it when it is in its box, however I'm not a fan when it's broken.

I am amazed. It keeps its place on your lap when you play and doesn't move about.

I can't remember the last time I used such a stick
5/5

I can't remember the last time I used such a stick. It is very roomy and comfortable, and it looks very contemporary. Using the sticks and buttons is a breeze. While the touch panel is a little clunky at first, it becomes much more intuitive once you get used to it. This stick looks and feels really cool, and I really like how it feels. This is the best stick I have ever used!.
