Yes, it was erroneously assembled. Those two pieces are actually in the wrong order. br>Both sides should have their open ends facing forward.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR SOMETHING THAT STATES IT SHOULD BE COMPATIBLE WITH THESE SYSTEM GAMES.
I needed a place to store my games and, ideally, something that matched my PS5. This is the case. It's a cinch to assemble. And disassemble, which I had to do because I decided not to pay attention to the slots and ended up with the top half of the tower backwards, lol. On the bottom half, I keep my PS5 games, and on the top half, I keep my Switch games. I don't have a large game library for either of these, so I have plenty of options. If space isn't an issue where you are, you can easily stack several of these. Especially when it comes to the floor. For the time being, I'm keeping mine on my dresser.
It's a little pricey for what it is, but unless you want one of those ugly wire ones, this is the best value per disc I could find. br>It matches the PS5's aesthetic well, which is the main thing I was looking for, and it's simple to put together. I only used one half of the stack for where I have it, but even though it doesn't have a top, I could easily fit more discs in the other half. Some people have complained that it doesn't work well with switch games. Unfortunately, I don't have one, but the switch game cases are much narrower, allowing them to sit deeper and slide side to side more easily.
This is ideal for storing PlayStation and Xbox games because it is both sturdy and simple to assemble.
It says it's fine for Nintendo Switch games, but the Switch games barely fit in the slots.
This tower is incredibly shaky. It's designed in such a way that you can buy another one and stack them on top of each other. Why? I'm not sure. One of the stacks has already begun to sway in the shape of a V. song.
The games of the grandsons Love it.
