Well, I have a shipping scale, and you've piqued my interest. The Fosmon battery is a pound and a half in weight. 3 oz., plus the weight of two AA batteries and the battery cover: 1. 8 oz. So, as everyone else has said, the Fosmon battery is similar in weight, if not slightly lighter. I doubt the original questioner cares now that it's been two years, but for anyone else who is curious, here's the definitive answer.
You'll need to connect it directly to the Xbox with what comes in the package. If you have a charging adapter, you can use it instead and plug it into a wall outlet, but the USB cable provided is only a foot long, so I'd recommend at least a five-foot cable. br>br>PS: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words " That's how I went about doing it. I used a charging adapter and a 5-foot cable that I already had, and it worked perfectly.

This stand charges quickly and looks good when it's on display. While charging, the green light flashed and stayed green until the battery was fully charged. It is simple to connect and charge the controllers. So far, there have been no issues with the battery life.
