For Christmas, I bought this for my daughter Video games are not my thing. Our first attempt at turning it on was not successful after we had trouble- Worked out how to use the remotes. Unfortunately, none of the discs are recognized by the console. Our attempt to use these discs on my mother's Wii proved to be successful. My purchase turned out to be There is no refund due to the late return. The fact that I cannot afford new stuff is a big complaint of mine.

One of the kids tried to use their old Wii once they got home from college but it wouldn't work. Seeing this Amazon Certified Refurbished Wii sounded like a good deal so I decided to give it a spin. As a result of Amaon's backing, I like it a lot. I ordered it, it came quickly, I hooked it up, it came with a HDMI adapter, but I ordered the cables and controllers rather than the HDMI adapter. Played for a bit and then turned it off. In order to start fresh, we reformatted the computer to its original settings. My kids will be home next month and they're looking forward to playing all their old games when they come back. I've had it about a month now, and I like it.
