In order to play Guitar Hero my daughter begged for the drum set over and over again. I was not prepared for how awful they really are after reading all the bad reviews. In the beginning there were many missed beats because the drums didn't register well. As for the quality, it's also not a good set. There are broken plastic items such as the drum stick holder and the raiser retention tab. The last attempt of playing them less than two weeks ago has resulted in her giving up. Since I am not playing this game, I should state that I am not the player. You're the only one who listens. Neither drum sticks nor percussion instruments were included in the set. There is no response from the drum pedal. Two of the cymbals aren't working. They don't have the cord that connects and they're not hooked I forgot to put the yellow cymbal collar on. If you read the reviews, it seems that after 2015 the seller really put out garbage. For a fun evening at my school, I purchased a set of these. Buyer beware on this one, so disappointed. I rarely leave feedback, but there is a buyer beware on this one. In the package, it wasn't complete when I opened it. I purchased it for evening activities for my school and when it arrived, it was missing the legs and Where do you find drumsticks for a drum kit if you forget them? attempted to improvise the feet with my old Rock Band drum set and thought that I might be able to make it work, but then the cymbals wouldn't fit, so now this is pointless. It's still more fun playing the drums than singing in Grand Hotel, although I can't say that the drums are my favorite aspect of the band. Guitar players don't need to have skill to play drums, but casual players don't necessarily want to learn that. After dropping the foot pedal, it snapped out of the back as well.

It was easy to assemble and the quality is excellent for 99 bucks. In the new school year, next year, my 10 year old wants to join the band as a percussionist The GH drums should keep her interested over the summer and allow her to make a smooth transition to a real drum set.
