Questions & Answers

Is it necessary to have two nunchucks?

A nunchuk is required for each remote on the original Wii. You can use as many as four at once; I have four remotes and four nunchuks.

Is this a Wii Nunchuck that was made by Nintendo? I assume it is because it is signed by Ninetnedo. ?

Yes, it was the original that came with the WiiU when we bought it (except our nunchuk was black rather than white, as shown).

Is this compatible with the Wii's first generation?

There will be no issues.

Is it true that I'll require two?

When playing with two players, a nunchuk is sometimes required for each controller.

Quick Buy is just out to make a quick buck and isn't a genuine Nintendo Chuck when compared to real ones
3/5

A sticker was affixed to the chuck when it arrived. The finish on the handle is incorrect, and the handle is made of plastic. The box did not include a "readme" pamphlet. Symptoms of a knock-on effect off. The forger did an excellent job of setting this one up, so it kept me guessing for a while. It even had a warning sticker on the cord, which I still have, and it was very classy. In any case, I'm done with Quick Buys. br>br>Normally, I only want the real thing, but the stick is tight and the buttons are so close to the real thing that it's nearly impossible to tell them apart. Having a backup isn't a bad idea, and to be honest, my other chuck almost looks too good to use. lolbr>br>But here's the truth: There's not a snowball's chance in hell's fire that this little baby isn't fake unless they start making them differently (haha, no). Even though the seller should have known better, he still sold it.

Received a Chinese knock-off - returned
3/5

Relieved from a fake Chinese product that lacked the Nintendo seal and didn't match the button positions exactly. The images on the box did not correspond to the box. There was Japanese text near the top of the box where "Nintendo" should have been, and the box had almost no English writing - It appears that everything is in Japanese. I looked at the back label and saw that it was made in China. I returned the nunchuck unused because it lacked an official seal and the buttons were misplaced (wrong depth).

My wife and I bought a Wii several years ago (before we had children), played it a few times, and then it served as a nice dust collector for quite some time
4/5

After six years, we now have three boys, ages six, three, and one. We recently resurrected the Wii and began playing a few games on it. Bowling and boxing are two of my oldest son's favorite activities. We only had one Nunchuck, and we wanted to be able to box each other, so we needed to get another. I was surprised at how much they cost, but I assume it's because the new WII U can use the same nunchuck (keeping them relevant). This nunchuck was fantastic, allowing my son and me to compete in the Wii boxing games. It's incredible how easily he can defeat me. We appear to be throwing our arms around at random, but I haven't beaten him in weeks, so he must have some sort of technique. This nunchuck came at a fair price. According to some reviews, it could be a knockoff. I'm not sure if that's the case - It says Nintendo on the box and appears to be genuine, but I'm aware that these items are easily replicated. However, the price was reasonable, and it performed admirably, so I would recommend this product to anyone in need of a second Nintendo Nunchuk Controller.

This is the standard Numchuk add-on for the Wii Remote and Wii Remote Plus, which is compatible with both the Wii and the Wii U
4/5

This is the Wii Remote's standard Nunchuk controller add-on from Nintendo. Despite the fact that this version is packaged for the Wii U, it works on both the Wii and the Wii U. It's also Nintendo's standard Wii Remote add-on, so Wii and Wii U owners will need it. This is the Numchuk made by Nintendo, which I believe makes better accessories than third-party companies, so if you're looking for one, this (or a similar-looking Numchuk) is the one to get. The packaged version (in a different color) will be the best option. br>br>For those who are unfamiliar with how the Numchuk works, it connects to the Wii Remote or Wii Remote Plus. Although not every game supports or requires a Numchuk, the majority of Wii games, as well as many Wii U games, do. Unless someone is using another controller or Wii Remote combo, you'll need one pair of Wii Remote and Wii Remote Plus for each person playing. That's really all there is to it. br>br>.

With the Wii U and Wii, it performs as expected
5/5

This Nunchuck controller was purchased to use with my Wii U console. It performs admirably in games that make use of the nunchuck's motion controller, such as The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, and it's my favorite color, so it gets bonus points for style. It has two trigger buttons and a thumbstick, and the cable is just long enough to allow you to extend your arms while playing without getting in the way. Overall, I found this product to be without flaws and would recommend it to anyone who owns a Nintendo Wii or a Nintendo Wii U. 5/5 starsbr>br>If this review was helpful to you, please click the "Yes" button below to show your appreciation. Keep an eye out for non-compliant products
4/5

Authentic items Let me start by saying that the Nunchuk I received works perfectly (for the time being). br>br>However, keep in mind that the source from which you obtain your Nunchuk will determine how "authentic" it is. I got mine from "Pegasus Toys," a third-party vendor. "Games" is available for $16. It appears to be a different vendor at the time of this posting. Genuine Nintendo accessories are always a source of concern for me. That is not what I believe I received in this case. I'm not going to go into too much detail, but here's what I did: br>br>I compared the Nunchuk that came with the console to my original Nunchuk that came with the box. Everything should look exactly the same if it's a genuine product. The controller I received, on the other hand, had subtle to significant differences in a number of areas. As an example, consider the cord. On the Nunchuk that I ordered, there is a cable marking that identifies the quality/standards of the cable; second, there is a cable marking that identifies the quality/standards of the cable; and third, there is a cable marking that identifies the quality/ The first one has no markings on it. In addition, the flexible section of the cable that connects to the Nunchuk's base is shorter than it was on the original. Other differences, such as the texture of the joystick and the pins inside the connector, merely give the impression that it is less expensive. Even the small book that comes in the box appears to be printed on less expensive paper (not glossy like other manuals, but still bearing the "Nintendo seal" that "proves" its authenticity). br>br>Though it has worked well so far, I am disappointed that it is not quite the same. Yes, you can get controllers made by third parties for less money, but I wanted to spend the money on the real thing. You should buy this type of item from a well-known retailer or department store (and pay the $19). Rather than saving a few dollars, I paid $99 plus tax.
