However, it is broken.   The one that works perfectly is the one that goes on but does not stay in place. I figured I'd make do because they were cheap. It is, however, futile.

Both are perfectly compatible with the Wii remote. The plastic is smooth and pleasant to the touch, and it accomplishes the task at hand. I'm so happy to have backs on my controllers once more!.

The fit isn't perfect, the texture isn't quite right, and the color isn't quite right, but it's fine overall.

The fit is perfect. The material appears to be a little flimsier than the original backs, but it's still a good substitute.
