In short, yes. I have been using my WII remote for approximately 10 years, and it still works
While I'm not sure how long they're supposed to hold a charge, it seems mine do the same in that they only hold for a few hours Despite numerous attempts, I still cannot get the remotes to stay firmly on the cradle so they can charge.
The original is not exactly the same as this, but I find it to work fine
Each charger comes with a pair of rechargeable batteries that plug into the back of the remote.

very happy to receive this product since it would save me a lot of money by preventing me from having to buy batteries time and time again. I was disappointed to find out, however, that even after charging the battery packs until they were ready for use, they both lost power Even though the docking station did not come with instructions, it's fairly simple to use, thanks to the fact that it displays a red light for low batteries and then turns blue once it's fully charged. It didn't make any difference how long I charged them, nor did it seem to make a difference how much longer I charged them. That's all I have to say. My plan is to return since the disappointment is not worth it.
During the charge process, both battery packs performed as expected. The controllers wouldn't turn on after both lights indicated they were fully charged. It seems that the controllers will not turn on when I switch the batteries in them or even when I insert regular batteries. Neither of the controllers were functional after the battery packs or charging stations failed.
It's a complete waste of time. There is no charge at all from this charging station. Unless you can charge the battery, which is near impossible, you will not get very long life out of it. My sense of accomplishment was greatly diminished because of the difficulty of charging the remotes on this dock. I wish I had listened to the.
It is not possible for batteries to It would appear that they are fully charged. However, they did not have juice or 1 bar the following time. As for the charger itself, it was cheap feeling and did not function. Charging causes the LCD to light up and change color. The color of this one switches back and forth multiple times during a charge, flickers between the two colors rapidly, and at one point appeared to have both colors on at once.
An alternative to wasting batteries that is still better for the environment. The app works well, but the battery life is extremely short. There is probably only 2 hours of play time before the low battery warning appears. It charges pretty fast if you flip side to side.
As well as charging stations for the Wii, I also ordered I charged the batteries on one of the remotes, but it won't respond to anything even if you don't do anything. In the process of returning an order where I thought I would be able to get just the one remote, I'm returning it. The event did not happen as planned. For the set to be perfect and to work, it would be perfect if there was just one remote.
I wasn't able to sync up until I took off the batteries. The change was good, but the controller wasn't able to sync.
Although I'm sure I'll receive a refund for the charger that I purchased, I doubt I'll be able to recover for the $100 in controllers that.
