I used the product for a little more than a year without any problems. When the Wii quit working, the seller refunded the original purchase price due to a manufacturer defect. I actually bought a refurbished Wii console thinking it was the console that needed to be fixed. My console did not power on after I plugged it in, although the red lamp would shine when I plugged in the console. I had no way of finding out which part of the console was malfunctioning since the red light would shine when I plugged in the console, however. In lieu of returning the refurbished console, I will keep it for a spare since it works great and the cord is new. Although I received excellent service from the seller, the manufacturer makes the final score a little low.

Our Xbox 360 came with this a few months back and we've played the game at most four times. Last week, we tried it, but the adapter simply won't work. In contrast, the last adapter (the original one) lasted for 4 years, yet the current one was not able to survive such a long life span. Despite the fact that it is cheap, I do not recommend it. I think if you can find a better solution, even though other ones may be a bit more expensive, if it doesn't work then what's the point? As soon as the screen is turned on, there are horizontal lines moving upward. Over the course of 5 minutes, it got worse. When the screen had been flashing for 7 minutes, it started flickering intermittently. The video lasted for 10 minutes, after which there was no longer any. Although it worked, the sound was not clear. *After the second one did the exact same thing, I've returned them both and am searching for a replacement that is of similar quality.

I have not experienced any problems with it, and it has been left on for hours everyday. There are no "fuzzy" or "snowy" distortions. The original is just as good as this one. This is the fifth year. I used it for a while, but then a cheap capacitor blew. Is there any chance of other parts being damaged? There was a lot of rattling and shaking inside the enclosure of the capacitor after the casing blew out. Switching brands and simply getting a new one was what I chose to do. This one will go in the trash as soon as the new one works. That wasn't supposed to fail on my Wii. Glad it worked.

My machine powered up and I played one round of the game. There were fluctuations, but I was still able to complete the round.
