Although I am not certain of its capacity, I am pretty certain it does not match its advertised capacity. In comparison to the stock battery, I didn't notice any significant difference.
The incident happened to me after I had the gamepad saved without loading it for more than a year. It will improve if you give it a chance to undergo several charges and discharges.
The battery I bought last week is a waste of money. An original battery that has been used for several years would carry a charge better than this

I was sceptical at first after reading some of the reviews of these aftermarket batteries for the Wii U. This battery was mislabeled, and so it is a copycat. The event lasted for about an hour and a half. It took 5 hours to complete. original, which was being replaced, lasted a little over two hours as the connector rely on pressure from the cover plate to hold it in place instead of clipping into place, which would cause the connector to disconnect and you would have to pop the cover back on. I recommend you not waste your time.
It is difficult to find any official batteries anymore, and I am always suspicious of batteries (like this one) that try to fool you into thinking they are a genuine Nintendo product when the logo/font, etc is so far off that you can tell they are fake. In spite of the Wii U arriving precharged, it still says full bars after one 2 hour session, and then the battery is depleted. My expectations of overall longevity aren't very high (i. e. eventually fully dying out) compared to my stock battery, but for the price, I am happy and cautiously optimistic about this battery.
This is a very poor quality product. The battery was condition at our request in order to prevent other people from experiencing the same issues. Not at all. It was a dud for me. I've had no problem with the battery. It worked perfectly up to the time when I could return it. I purchased this item on Early June I started having return window issues (mid June was the return deadline). The first time I used it, We could play for several hours using this battery. Then after a few hours, the battery would run out. Now you need to keep the game pad plugged in in order to play for any period of time. While it charged all night, I played games on the gamepad. When I checked it this morning, I only saw two battery bars. I unplugged it and 2 minutes later, the battery bar flashed. Take a look at the It would be helpful if you stopped buying this product so Amazon would take it off their website and save others' hard earned money. This is so wonderful, I'm glad to have received it. It's likely that the original Wii U battery will be enough to run the gamepad for a maximum of 3 hours on It stopped holding a charge for an extended period of time, maybe an hour at most, so I decided to purchase this battery, which is supposed to hold almost three times as much power as the original. My new battery has been in use for close to 2 hours now, and the battery is still at 4 bars. I am glad that I bought this.
I think it may have been an off day. The charge took 24 hours to complete after it was installed. The amount of charge I am getting from this is not much higher than Using the gamepad before the charger is plugged in, and for only the parts of Breath of the Wild that require a gamepad, the gamepad displays the low battery indicator after about 3 hours, which is less than I expected from This being said, it installs easily, just needs to be turned so that it is oriented differently from the original, as it is indeed bigger. Charging the gamepad caused a blinking orange light to appear. In my case, I reseated the battery after cleaning the contacts and cleaning the contacts. As a Nintendo fan, I really wanted this to work since I missed out on getting a longer lasting battery from them directly. In reality, I have used the battery only twice out of the two, and probably even less than the original battery from my Wii U. Honestly, I get HOURS and HALF out of this gigantic battery, which is so heavy it weighs down the Wii U pad a lot more than it did It's got to be returned! Honestly, I was hoping this would be a benefit, but at least I had my old battery in case something went wrong. Yes, that did happen. My experience with this battery has not been so good. It has been good for some people, but not me. You can even find the Wii U logo on it. However, nothing has been successful.
