Following several reviews of how this battery was so much better and that it had fixed low charge issues by wiggling the cable, I got confident so I ordered it. On the first try, the Wii U controller lasted for about 45 minutes, so I decided it was no big deal just open it up and make sure everything is seated correctly. This is the way I charge the battery overnight and test it. Now it only lasts reseated the cables twice more and the longest I can get out of this battery is 45 minutes. Since swapping back to the original battery, I haven't had a problem. It is unreasonable to recommend anyone purchase this battery, no matter what their reasons may be. The Nintendo replacement battery will suffice if your original battery is dead and if you want it to last longer, get the Nintendo extended life battery. I am currently on the way to getting it.
Nintendo's are very old, so they're likely to be counterfeit It could be a fake, or even an imitation. Some of the Nintendo batteries were clearly very old. We were told this by the company. As far as I can see, this battery cannot be an old one someone is attempting to sell as if it were Batteries from many years ago, or old stock from Nintendo. There is no indication that Nintendo makes this therefore, it is likely to be a new product. Having a great time with it. The boys used to have to plug in all the time and only got a few minutes of playtime if they weren't connected to the power supply. Now, my youngest son says he gets longer than two hours a day.
It is a lie that this battery is the size that it is claiming picture I included on here, you can see that it is the same size as the 1500mah stock battery that comes with the Wii U. Two other batteries were purchased, one that is 2400mah and the other is twice what this 3000mah is. The 3000mah battery lasted the same amount of time as the old 1500mah battery in my old camera. I cannot stress enough DON'T WASTE.
Within 20 minutes of taking it out of the packaging after 16 hours, I was able to play the game.
It's the second time I have ordered this battery, the first one didn't work, so I returned it and got a replacement. Although the second one works and holds a charge, it is not as long lasting as the original. The original is only 1500 maH, so this one should last longer, but it just lasts a short time while playing games. Since it says this is 3000 maH, that means this one should last significantly longer.
I have a problem with the gamepad's battery lasting longer than 10 to 30 minutes, no matter how long I charge it. The extra money will be worth it to get a Nintendo.
I think the old one is fine but this replacement battery pack does work as described and is a good value if you need to replace it.
I like the way it works.
