The finish is flawless, with a snug fit This looks like the OEM plates Sony might have offered (if that was what they did). This is partly due to the Sony plates' restrictive airflow. My project was to cut *4" cutouts over the fan areas on both plates and cover them with waffle grilles (the same types of grilles used for small I didn't want the original Sony plates to be used in case I had to send my PS5 back to Sony for warranty repairs in the future. In any case, the results are fantastic. I love the way the plates fit As oppose to what others have reported, I did not have any problems installing or uninstalling the application. As long as you follow the right procedures, you shouldn't have any issues. *Temps According to the thermocouples used, the temperatures before and after were 92/87C, 82/72C, and 80/68C for the top three memory ICs. Considering that it took me only 2 hours to construct my entertainment center, this is definitely a great result (though I did add an additional fan below the PS5, to pull cool air from the bottom Furthermore, I removed the back panel from my entertainment center enclosure to allow for better air flow). As a blue PS5, the PS5 also looks pretty tasty!.
In a nutshell, A Ultra HD Clear White version of the unit I got was what I received. It fit perfectly within the PS5 - I had no problems. The stock PS5 housing was just as easy to replace. Without modifying either the bottom or top of the display, both can easily be clicked off and on again without any problems. There is nothing wrong with the appearance of the housing as long as you do not mind the circles and squares that are clearly visible in multiple places on it, most likely due to the injection molding process used. Seeing through it, you also see all of these areas, which causes you to think that it isn't as clean as it could be because it is clear. Although it's not perfect, it still looks fantastic. It is the durability that causes me to give 4 stars rather than 5 stars. The scratches are not related to the item breaking. The entire surface of this item is HIGHLY prone to scratching. I can even see tiny scratches after wiping the dust off with a microfiber cloth. In spite of the two issues I mentioned, I recommend this housing to you. Rather than cut mine with a Dremel, I used a plastic cutter Wet it with a dip. I love the way this looks and how it fits!.
The PS5 looks so much better than my previous one! Some of the hooks on one of the faceplates were a little hard to get to lock into place all the way, but with a couple of attempts it finally did. However, I would still recommend it.
After purchasing 5 different plates from different companies to compare them I will not be purchasing this one again since the opening is wider and the OEM is behind the plate, it is not expected. Apart from that it seems to fit well, but this is not expected. Therefore, I would not recommend it.
Adding Black FacePlates to the PS5 helps the console look completely different. I really do not like glossy finishes since they are prone to scratching. If it had a matte black middle skin, then it would be perfect. Currently, I am in love with Package was really nice, and I think the price of 30 bucks is a very These look great in any color, so I encourage you to try them out.
When I first received the order, it was the wrong color. . . but Amazon corrected it right away. The installation process is not complicated as long as you follow the steps. Watch a YouTube video and you will see that a soft cloth should be laid down before you swap Although they look imperfect, there are some blemishes and the color is pretty neat.
These plates are perfect for the PS5, but they are a little thin, so they might break on the first drop, but I am not planning on moving them. It's amazing how well this product works.
