I ran into a space problem after recently purchasing a new TV and surround sound system for true 4K gaming. I had less space for my consoles because I had an extra long center sound bar and no easy way to wall mount it. br>br>At the moment, the center sound bar, cable box, Xbox One S, PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro), and Nintendo Switch are located on the top of my furniture unit. The Switch fits neatly behind the sound bar in its dock, while the oversized cable box is positioned horizontally, which is its only option. That left me with the option of stacking my Xbox One S on top of my PlayStation 4 Pro. br>br>Unfortunately, doing so caused the PS4 Pro to overheat; There appears to be a heat transfer point in the case's center top. There was no way for the heat to naturally dissipate and/or remain under control with the Xbox One S on top. Both consoles were vertically positioned as a result of the solution. br>br>The Younik PS4 Pro Vertical Stand is a straightforward stand that encloses the console's bottom. It's slightly larger than the Xbox One S, but the PS4 Pro is also slightly larger and has an angled shape that necessitates a different type of setup. In any case, it's effective and comes at a reasonable price. br>br>It's difficult to get excited about simple products, but it'd be dishonest to ignore the fact that they solve a real problem without breaking the bank. You can spend a lot more money on other vertical stands that are, to be honest, overpriced. Developed.
This was purchased to help provide better ventilation and airflow for my PS4 Pro, which sounded like a jet engine taking off whenever I played graphics-intensive games. New, more open location vertical stand = I no longer need to blast my tv at full volume to hear my game over the fan. br>I wish there was a way to lock the stand in place (it just cradles the PS4), but it's been pretty sturdy so far, so no major issues.

It only fits one side of the PS4 Pro and elevates the Blu-ray player. The ray disk slot has been moved to the top of the cabinet, where it is the most convenient to access. br>br>After using it for a few hours in its horizontal position before using this stand, it now runs much cooler in its vertical position under the same conditions. You can feel the air flow, and my PS4 Pro only gets mildly warm now that it is in a better position for air circulation. It's easy to spot the difference. br>br>This stand has soft rubber feet that keep it in place even on shiny high-gloss surfaces. The PS4 is lifted about an inch off the table by the stand. Effective and inexpensive! Get this if you want to keep your PS4 from overheating. There are other stands like this, but they aren't cheap; Sony has a stand for their PS4s, but it costs $60!.
All in all, a great product. The PS4 Pro looks great in matte black. It's simple, sleek, and only costs ten dollars. It's impossible to beat.
After spending a long time figuring out why my PS4 Pro wouldn't play games, I discovered that a large percentage of Sony's disc readers fail after a year of heavy use and will only recognize a disc if the console is vertical. As a quick fix, I tried this stand out, and it turned out to be fantastic. It's not very sturdy because I'm using it on carpet, but I believe it would work fine on a hard surface. There are fancier versions available, but if you're just looking to go vertical, you won't find a better product for less money.
