So, I'm a little bit obsessed with minimizing the footprint of components and wires in my entertainment systems. But, if you're reading this review, you're probably doing the same thing. br>br>As you can see from the photos, this has helped to reduce clutter. It's also prevented the toddler from destroying an expensive piece of equipment. br>br>About the unit: br>br> br>This is a very basic unit. Installs with two screws and is extremely simple to level. The PS4 then slides into place (with a very tight fit), is plugged in, and you're done. In less than two minutes, I had it set up on the level and with the hardware. This also made it easier to remove the PS4 from my enclosed cabinet, where it now has much better airflow; I'm confident that this will extend the PS4's life. br>br>Please let us know if this review was helpful. This is a great product that cleans up your entertainment setup while also being extremely durable. I was concerned at first, so I found a heavier book that I could alter a little and stick on the bracket instead of my prized PS4. I slammed the other side of the wall, yanked on the book, wiggled, slammed, and slammed some more, and it's still solid as a rock. With that said, I was able to locate a stud into which I could secure the bracket. I'd get a nicer set of drywall screws from your local hardware store if I were going to mount it on the wall. Also, with my PS4 skin, this bracket worked perfectly.

I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to set up, and I was able to do so with little difficulty. Because of the excellent design, the mount holds my PS4 securely and I don't have to worry about it falling out! If I relocate or simply want to move my PS4, I can easily move it and remove it from the wall. br>br>The mount arrived in a box large enough to hold both my PS4 and the mount. The mount came shrink wrapped with a small pamphlet with instructions for mounting it to the wall, as well as the necessary hardware, which included two screws and wall anchors. My only complaint is that my mount arrived loose in the box, with no air bags or other packing material to prevent one corner from bending. It wasn't a total loss, but I had to bend the corner straight, or at least straighter than it was when I first opened the shrink wrap. Even though it was bent, it worked after I bent the corner back a little. Aside from that, the mount is perfect for me!.

I couldn't find any definitive reviews where this mount had been installed under a desk or table, so I wasn't sure it would work. Before I go any further, I'd like to point out that some of the other one-star reviews are due to people purchasing (or being sent) the wrong mount. The PlayStation 4 Pro mount is the subject of this review. br>br>I bought two 1/4" 20 flathead machine screws from Home Depot, along with nuts, in the hopes of drilling holes in the cabinet/ottoman we just bought. I planned on routing out a little extra width to put the nut into to keep it tight, but drilling an almost exact width hole for the screw was enough to keep the PS4 Pro in place. I was pleasantly surprised, and because the groove measurements on the PS4 Pro are the same from bottom to top, I didn't have to flip it over, so it's right side up! To help distribute the weight, the bracket is placed near the center of the PS4. I'll post an update in a year or if it goes down. If that happens, I'll probably install with the nuts on the opposite side, but that's something I'll worry about later! br>br>Excellent, sturdy product; however, I don't believe the manufacturer intended for it to be used in this manner, so YMMV.

br>br>The mounts are very attractive, almost disappearing from view, and perfectly fit my Xbox One, PS4, and new PS4 Pro Spiderman Edition (I'm using the white mount, which looks great). br>br>They are extremely well built, and the installation process was a breeze. It took me no more than 5 minutes to calculate each amount. Amazing! br>br>Please excuse my cat, which used to sleep on top of my hot PS4. This is no longer the case.

This was a 15-minute job once I got the few needed tools out (drill, screwdriver, etc. ). a screwdriver, a bit, and a level ), as well as the removal and reinstallation of the television. I was concerned that I wouldn't have enough depth because the TV mount I used was so close to the wall, but this little guy took up almost none of that space. You can choose to mount your device in a visible or hidden position; I left mine out an inch to make it easier for everyone to reach it, but it cleaned up the area and looks so good that you'll forget it's there. Line of sight isn't an issue with Playstation devices because they run on Bluetooth. br>I was most concerned about stud placement because I dislike using drywall anchors. I couldn't get it where I wanted it because I hit a stud, so I used the included drywall anchors, which surprised me because it's actually quite strong. Obviously, no one can hold on to this thing, but it's still as snug as ever, even with my younger kids flinging discs in and out. There's also a lock screw on the side of the Playstation that anchors into hardware to keep it from sliding in either direction. Simply make sure you get the correct mount for your Playstation model! br>I am a huge fan of this mount and have told everyone I know about it.
