Selected User Reviews For Thrustmaster T-Pedals Stand (PS5, PS4, XBOX Series X/S, One, PC)
This pedal stand is ideal for use on a home-based studio. built a T-rig out of wood Pedals from LCM. br>br>I decided that buying this was cheaper than continuing to use a jumble of wood scraps to keep my pedals angled and in one place. The assembly isn't difficult, and once completed, the unit is quite sturdy. I could see the instructions being a little ambiguous for some, but putting the kit together was a lot of fun for me. Getting down to the meat of the matter, even with the pedals at the back of the stand, the entire stand lifts at the back under hard braking. This may not be the case with lighter springs, but I'm using one of the pre-tensioned springs. To eliminate slop, I installed springs and one red spring, as well as two washers. br>br>Overall, if I needed a stand, I would buy it for the same price. I'm thinking about putting a weight on the back of the stand to counteract the lifting effect, but I'm not sure what to use that won't get in the way of my fancy footwork.
Item arrived in good condition. I needed a riser/angle for my Logitech G29 pedals and decided to take a chance on this product because the bolt pattern matches up perfectly.
With the angle adjustment, driving becomes a whole lot more natural. I would highly recommend it because it is not overly expensive, it is durable, and it will do the job!.
Under heavy braking or heel/toe, the pedal does not lift. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a cockpit or rig just to play a few games, this is a great option. It does exactly what it says on the tin. br>br>However, the instructions are awful. Although the assembly isn't difficult, deciphering the manual may take a few minutes. They also don't include instructions for mounting the pedal set to the stand, but there are four additional "A" screws (you'll see what I mean if you buy it) that will fit into the bottom of your pedals. br>br>It will also feel far too flimsy until you actually mount the pedals to the stand; however, don't worry about this.
It takes some time to set up, but that's to be expected given how well it works. It's a good match for my Playseat Challenge.
Other than providing you with some optional angles, I'm not sure what this mount's purpose is. When I pressed down on it on my carpeted floors, it slipped away from me. You'd still have to attach it to your chair or mount it in some way. I'm going to give it a pass.
If you plan on parking it against a wall, this wheel stand is ideal; after installing it, I felt much more confident when slamming the brakes; in fact, I even installed the frim springs and never felt the pedals lift in the slightest; in fact, when I hit the brakes, I find myself pushing my chair away, it's that good! , but you're out of luck if you want to use it without a wall pushing up against it.
I was about to start building my own pedal stand when Thrustmaster came out with this just in time. br>It saved me time and the hassle of having to build something myself. br>Must have if you have TM Pedals. br>Good quality, easy to put together, T3PA pedals fit perfectly on the stand. br>Must have if you have TM Pedals. br>br>All that's left now is to wait for Thrustmaster to sell the T-shirt. The GT base unit can be used without the wheel or they can make the TS-based unit. PS4 compatible PC Racer wheel.
