Hello, that is not a problem. That is something I am capable of doing.
Yes, this is for a PS4 controller, and it fits perfectly.

The item is metal but is powder coated (I believe) so you don't have to worry about scratching up your controller. I personally use it under my desk mounted to the side wall and it is very unnoticeable unless you are looking for it, the item is metal but is powder coated (I believe) so you don't have to worry about scratching up your controller.
We tried it out on our living room wall, and it seemed to work until it fell apart in the middle of the night: (We followed all of the instructions, and the mount is out of the way, so it's not like we're knocking into it or causing it to fall off in any way. ) I'll contact the seller, but I'm going to try command stripping or velcro stripping it from Staples. I don't see any problems if you screw it in, but I gave it two stars because I was trying to avoid holes and now have to deal with a peeled wall.
I like this control holder because it holds up well to the wall, especially for my cute PS4 controllers. The only thing I don't like about it is that the back sticker to place the controller holder onto the wall is that once it's on the wall and you place it incorrectly, it's extremely difficult to remove. My boyfriend and I were trying to redo it because I thought we placed it on the wall crooked, so we tried taking it off and no luck.
First and foremost, I hope no one expects the included tape, or any tape, to keep your controller running. Expect to use the provided hardware to install the controller, and it will support and use the controller well over time; this isn't a complaint, but rather a fact. My complaints begin after only a week of using the controller holder. The coating is starting to peel off in some places and is bubbling in others. I was hoping that this would be my final holder. It's made of metal, which is fantastic. I began returning the unit, but I believe I will media blast it and then Ceracoat it. It's a good thing I know how to do this because it would cost around $25-$30 if I didn't. To have them done, it costs $35. Simply because the coating is peeling and bubbling, I have to give it a one. Because it's metal and there's no coating in my area, it'll rust, which I don't want. Just be careful. It's fantastic, but you might have to get creative; I hadn't read about other people having this problem in the reviews. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Let us know if you have any questions.
Only one of my orders was correct, so I'm waiting for a replacement. I ordered two PS4 mounts and only received one that was correct; the other was for an Xbox, which I assume was because the mount wouldn't fit my control. ALSO, only one came with the adhesive 3M tape, which was easy to replace even though I split the 3M in half and decided to mount it anyway to test it out and avoid the return process. But I'm not happy with it, and I'm going to have to return it anyway. Another thing to note is that the labels on both boxes are identical, stating that they are both for PS4. It's possible that the wrong item was placed in the wrong box. Who knows what will happen.
Dry walling took three months. Although the design is excellent, the adhesion is poor. I bought these to avoid drilling holes in my wall, but they began to fall off after only two weeks. Three months have passed since the installation. In theory, this product is fantastic, but I simply cannot afford to replace it every two years. 3 months. br>br>I purchased three of these, two of which were defective. I've been holding a single controller for three months now. It could be that I installed it on dry wall, which is why it's falling off so easily.
br>br>Doesn't damage analogs or force them out of the nuetral position (which was a minor concern prior to a lengthy trial).
So I wouldn't recommend sticking this on with double-sided 3m tape without screwing it into the wall. It appeared to be sturdy at first, but after a day or so, the adhesion failed to stick to the metal. I've even tried a different brand of 3m tape, but it still falls off. So don't bother getting this unless you plan on screwing it into something.
