*Some tinkering is necessary. Remove the "kickstand" and replace it with a medium Command picture hanging strip for a stylish controller holder. Use of the black Command strips earns you extra points. The medium strip provides just enough clearance from the wall to avoid hitting the L2/R2 triggers. Have a good time looking at the photos and having a good time! Remove the "kickstand" by using a small punch or makeshift tool to remove the pin. It's best to use a piece of strong wire that is the right size. Remove it with pliers after pushing it out as far as they will go. The pin has a friction fit and is easy to remove. I looked all over Amazon for a good controller mount, and this is, without a doubt, the best option; I would not use any other controller wall mount. It also works well on a desk or table, but it really shines when clinging to your preferred vertical surface.

When you're paying that much for a simple stand and a small storage compartment, it's just not worth it as a product. br>br>I've seen comments claiming it doesn't work with the Elite controller, and to some extent, this is true. With the full (4) paddle setup, it won't fit properly, yes. However, I don't like the grip/feel I get when playing with all (4) paddles, and I much prefer to only play with a (2) paddle upper setup so I can keep a firm grip on the sides of the controller. The elite controller fits perfectly on the stand with a (2) paddle upper setup without any issues at all. For those who may be running the same setup and are unsure whether or not to pick one up, I've included pictures. br>br>The storage compartment is also useful for storing my extra eneloop batteries. I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to dress up their entertainment display in some way.
Although it was not designed to be wall mounted, it can be made to look sexy by using double sided tape and removing the kickstand (as recommended by another reviewer). Although not everyone requires a non-charging PS4 controller stand, the organizational capabilities of these soothe my soul.
They should definitely make this thing capable of supporting the elite controller as well. When the paddles are removed, it works fine.

As a result, my controllers (unfortunately) frequently fall over. If you decide to put them away after use, they fold up very neatly as well.
This is a stand for your PlayStation 4 controller, as stated in the product description. There's nothing else it can do. Because it isn't molded for it, it won't hold any other type of controller. It also lacks a passthrough for charging your controller with USB cables, which was my assumption when I purchased it. However, I can't blame this product for lacking features simply because I didn't bother to double-check, so I'll give it a rating based on its intended purpose. It's supposed to act as a stand for your controller. br>br> It doesn't charge it, it doesn't work with controllers other than the Dualshock 4, and it only does what it says. However, it does so admirably and in a stylish manner. That's all right.
This small stand not only stores a spare set of rechargeable AA batteries. It looks great and allows me to place my controller anywhere in the room without fear of it slamming into one of the controller's analog sticks. It's been in my papasan, on top of my microwave, at my workstation, and even on the XBOX ONE itself. I also like how it looks with the controller! _br>br>When I pick up my controller by the sides, I like to press the guide button with my left thumb. So it's a good fit for when I'm about to game or just want to use it as a remote next to my papasan. Also, when everything isn't strewn about the entertainment center, it looks a lot more organized. O,O.
