The fit is perfect and the texture is terrific. In a second review, the item was described as unfitting and too small (along with She did not remove the existing faceplate, which I believe she did not do. It is also necessary to slide those two "tabs" underneath the controller shell to make sure everything is in place perfectly. The negative review appears to have been removed after all. Let's hope she was able to figure it.

In terms of aesthetics, it is attractive, however the mold in which it was created is not positioned so that its built-in microphone is visible as well. When a plate is put on top of the microphone, it creates pressure against it, causing the mic to seem like it is constantly on. In order to fix this myself, I had to grind the opening deeper with a dremel.

I made this controller mod for the first time and it went really Modifying the trim shell on a PS5 controller is the easiest mod of all time. With my fingernail, I was able to pry up the ends of the original black shell rather than using the tool that came with it, but used the tool to lift off the rest of the shell. The new one fits perfectly, the colours are exactly as described, and the finish is smooth and glossy. All the buttons and triggers from the company I modded were also modded. clear YouTube tutorial on how to do all the mods, and I would recommend new users do the same. My controller worked perfectly after reassembly, and I am proud of it!.

All in all, a smooth transaction! Installing and removing it were not difficult, and the tool that was necessary for the job was included with the product. The following note In other words, a little bump here and there essentially fills in the gap / dip Sony had from the white to the black of the OEM cover. It is not a con and improves our comfort with the controller rather than being a con ( see photo 2). There are pros I note *br The installation process is quick and painless - The fit is well made* - I've used bold color - The price is good, but there are a few cons I note *br This kit did not come with instructions (had to watch YouTube videos to figure out how to remove the OEM cover plate*) It is a bit scary to install, but overall it can be done.

Being able to distinguish between different controllers is pleasing to me. It has never happened to me that I have two controllers of the same color in the past four console generations. The decision to get a second white controller was the only option available since Sony did not release any other controllers. Whenever I am looking for controller skins, I stumble across these. By adding the wood grain to the controller, it makes it look more stylish, and the material seems much better than the original piece of trim. We'll see how things turn out in the end. I definitely plan to buy more controllers if I ever need a third, and I may even replace them all at some point. It looks terrible with the wood grain next to the OG trim piece. We hope to see more wood colors in the future. We would love to see a deep cherry red and/or a weathered gray wood grain trim piece.

There are a lot of people who argue that it doesn't fit, but I assure you, it fits exactly as need to know how to install it properly, so make sure you Google it or look it up on YouTube to learn how to do it. I have researched several options and Extremerate has the best quality buttons and faces. You will have a great looking dualsense after putting some effort and patience into it. Please note that you'll need to take your controller apart entirely if you change your buttons or triggers. Make certain you are very careful when putting the adaptive triggers You will not be able to load a single game if you misplace any component on either trigger. There will be a lot of work involved in taking the whole thing apart The overall experience with my purchase was very positive. * Note * You'll find two black pieces that snap onto the inside of the L2 and the L3 if you have them Extremerate also provides L2/R2 triggers that are similar to the stock ones. The molding on them is just a bit off, so I highly recommend removing the original one from your L2/R2. You are provided with a small, blue prying tool that can be used to pry it out.
