The software does the job with a couple of minor issues

There is no difference whether a controller is plugged in or not — the display remains on regardless. It is not clear as to why the connection between the unit and controller cannot be removed. Taking out the controller from the charger requires that I remove the small piece from it. Apart from adding an unnecessary step to the process, it does not benefit the process in any way.

This controller adaptor keeps falling out because it is too small

There is a serious design flaw here. Despite the fact that a USB type C adaptor is included with the product, it keeps falling out. This small black adaptor bends easily, and is extremely easy to drop. This represents a serious design flaw on the product. This design is not functional, so I am returning it.

At this time it is too early to conduct a review. As time goes on, I will see whether or not it proves worthwhile as a Christmas present for my grandsons.
