As a stand-alone product, it's okay so I would keep four stars, however, I am taking one off because the company is trying to buy reviews with those small cards that say, "earn a 10 dollar gift card by giving us 5 stars. ". My opinion is that the marketing is misleading. It's not a product worthy of 5 stars, but it's decent nevertheless.
I bought this because the price was great and I just needed a charging station for my controllers when not in use. Smaller scenarios are best suited to the size. One thing you have to be aware of is that you have to plug it into the console to charge it. Using an adapter from an old cell phone, we were able to plug the Playstation directly into a wall and thus free up USB ports for the controllers, while turning off the Playstation when not in use. The product I purchased from this company is good, and I plan on purchasing another one in the future if we need more.
There's a little bit of a difference between the descriptions. The first thing I like about it is the low profile design which makes it helpful in fitting into places other chargers that hold controllers vertically aren't as practical. In my experience, I have noticed that it appears blue continuously and, when you plug a controller in, it turns red, indicating that it is charging, but never goes back to blue to indicate full charge. It is possible to only tell if the controller is on by watching the light bar. It has an orange light bar on the controller that will flash while it is charging. A fully charged flashlight stops showing a light on the light bar when it stops and no glow is present. The only color is blue, and there is no controller connected to it. Additionally, there is a red light if a controller has been connected. Furthermore, there is no green LED to indicate that a power source is connected.
It's great that the controller can be easily removed from the charger and played immediately. It's also really convenient to put it in.
The product does everything it says and it is also a great value for the money. Its looks much better than Sony's and its much nicer to use and to look at than theirs.
His wife purchased this for her husband as a gift. He really likes it and also likes how fast it charges. The size is small enough for it to fit next to his game perfectly.
The price was great. On the market, this was one of the cheapest third party charging stands. It was easy to connect the controllers to the stand, and they charged quickly as well.
