There is no doubt that it is a Sony PlayStation 2. Only a few things have been changed. However, it works very well.
It looks great, I'm expecting it to last at least five years, but I don't know if they did a good job with mine My guess is that it will last 10 years if I do not dust it.
My product was slightly damaged when I received it (it still worked, but there was a small piece that broke off). My company sent me a new product free of charge when I contacted them. As well as my damaged one, I was allowed to keep mine. I have a great time working with them!
Then an HDMI converter is what you need.

This was written if the PS2 was not reading discs. (PLEASE READ IF THE PS2 IS NOT READING THE DISKS)
I was really hoping that it would work but the PS2 doesn't read or spin the discs. My contact with the seller has been made, so hopefully I get a reply. A quick update To determine whether I should return the console, I looked into possible solutions (ranging from the inside being dusty, to a new laser or other parts being needed). In the disc slot, I noticed that there was dust on it when it would open, so with fingers crossed, I decided to see if being dirty was the issue. Using my dad's help, he opened up the console and boy did there seem to be a lot of dust inside! Even after a full refurbishment, this looked as if it had never been cleaned a day in its life. We did clean it and plugged it back in to verify whether it worked- praise God! It's a relief that all the discs now work, however, it can also be frustrating because we had to actually take the disc out and clean it ourselves, something that should have been done by the seller. (It is unfortunate that one of the other reviewers had this same problem, but didn't realize that cleaning it might have helped).
I am only rating it 3 stars because although the console worked in the end, the seller did not perform the act of refurbishing it. Several reviewers were dissatisfied that there was no memory card, after all, it was shown in the picture. However, that information is not provided in the description, so I'll ignore that complaint.
It wasn't possible for a quality control study to be conducted on this console because it arrived damaged. It rattled when I tried to eject pieces the eject mechanism did not work a sticky substance covered the drawer that holds the games (it looked like cola that was spilled). I really don't know what a certified refurbished product was for. It was a bad excuse.
I really like this.
You can't expect to receive the best as a customer when you buy used items. When it comes to customer service, retro refresh has gone well above and beyond my expectations.
My first PS2 came to me heavily damaged in the box it was shipped in. An opening in one of its corners had been made by the shipment of the PS2, and the PS2 had poked through that. A small amount of bubble wrap/ packing peanuts was not sufficient to keep the machine from bouncing around. It turned out that the product didn't In each package, they include a card with a personal representative to deal with your issue (this I didn't realize until after I had A whole new PS2 was given to me without me having to pay or do anything else. I was pleased to find out not only that my issue was resolved quickly, but that I would also get a new PS2. I felt as if the second one arrived even faster than the first, even though it might have been around the same time as the first. This time, it came packaged well and securely, with only one minor cosmetic defect. I have never had a problem with my PS2. So far, it runs quietly and hasn't caused any issues. My recommendation would be for anyone looking to purchase refurbished items to purchase from retro refresh.
My son ordered the PS2 with his Christmas money and is so excited about it. This is what we got There seems to be nothing wrong with the system, but they failed to send a memory card, so I now have to find one for him, and I'd A brief update When I sent a message to them, I received a memory card as soon as possible. We seem to be doing fine so far.
It was broken when it arrived There were no operating ports on the controller or memory card of player 1. Even though the system was able to boot up, the disc tray would not eject, so it was unusable. Upon confirmation that the shipment had been delivered back to the seller, it took over a month for the refund to be processed.
Upon receiving my product, I found an S400 I port was already installed on the machine. There were no cosmetic flaws that I could detect, only a little dust on the A new controller and cable was provided as an aftermarket upgrade. sticker that infers tampering or tampering with the warranty has been cut (a good sign), leading me to believe that someone has been inside to mop up or clean. A dust-free environment could be found in both the ventilation system and cooling fan. Thank you for the excellent service ITEMBAZAAR provided.
