Questions & Answers

Neither the adults nor the child have any problem with the chair. Thank you, sir?

The only thing I find difficult is my height, which is 5'7". There is a forward and backward adjustment of the seat, and the steering mount can be adjusted for height

Would you mind telling me how that seat is? Those pads look nothing like comfortable seats, just like some pads that There is no side support and only a cushion for the lumbar area. ?

F- is comfortable, but if your but is so wide that it spills over and onto the floor, you might not be as happy as you could be Getting behind the wheel of a GT. There's no need for side supports as it doesn't move, unless you're making a lot of noise.

Are you sure this is compatible with the thrustmaster Ts-2000 Can you tell me what xw racer wheel is?

The answer is yes

The wheelbase may be directly driven, can this be done?

Watching videos, I saw that it does during most things, but at very heavy things, it will slightly flex, but not very

Rig is solid, and the price is VERY reasonable
4/5

It took me months to decide to pull the trigger on this rig after searching around for months. As a matter of fact, I must say that for the price you cannot really go wrong. of the similar cockpits I saw were twice the price or more expensive. There weren't any that actually included a seat for the price I was looking for. All the ones I did find around this price or cheaper had obvious design flaws or were simply not stable enough for our setup. When I got off work early the next day, I decided I'd start assembling mine the following day. The assembly of this product is really well done, but I give it a 5 star review nonetheless. We had a little work to do. Having done quite a lot of work like this myself and am pretty confident in my abilities, I personally have quite a bit of experience in this area. very rarely get things assembled for "an extra $20" or whatever, but this is one of those things that makes me wish there was another option. You might want to get a friend with experience in building things or furniture assembly to help out with this project if you are not proficient in those areas. The finished product was worth all of the effort, although it was a pain in the neck. I find the directions to be vague, and the hardware (nuts, bolts, washers, etc. ) is not accurately labelled so there is a bit of guesswork involved. Hardware is already attached to or inserted into some pieces, but it is not noted on the box. In the directions, washers are not mentioned so make sure to use them on all the connections. It is very important to NOT forget about the washers since the bolt heads are narrow. The pieces that go in the slots or channels on the sides are particularly vulnerable. One other issue I had was with felt pads included with the wheel podium for making it more stationary and less likely to move. An attachment pad is what decreases the gap where the wheel stand attaches to the rim. Ohne this pad, there is some wiggle in the wheels stand. They wiggle more from front to back than from side to side. In theory, it's supposed to help you make adjustments more easily, but if you're using any good steering wheel, it'll feel like it is moving while When I had this problem, I removed the bolts, replaced the felt pads, and resumed reattaching the nuts and bolts. There is only one problem the holes do not There is a concept of making that gap smaller to reduce movement, but it is so tiny that you can't fit the bolt in as well as you should. In order to get the pads back on, I had to remove them, reattach the back half of the wheel stand, tilt it back, and slide the pads back under the bracket, then smash it forward and reinstall the screws in the front. The wheel stand is now extraordinarily stable. The old adjustment may not have been exact, but it stopped the wiggle. Under force now, there is absolutely no wiggle room, and there are no flexes anywhere. With the Fanatec ClubSport Wheel Base V2, I can easily move my bike. Although it has no direct drive, it has the strongest FFB of any base I've ever played with that is not a direct drive.

I wanted to include as much information as I could because I know it could have been hard for me to finally decide. Due to my frustration concerning the assembly, it may seem that I am writing a negative review, but I am still giving it 1 star. All in all, this system is incredibly durable, and it can easily be adjusted to fit most people. This is a comfortable piece that also looks good without being too flashy. Despite not having a wheel or pedals, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and can highly recommend this cockpit to anyone looking for a complete setup (minus them, of course). The TV mount attachment I also purchased is also mounted on the 36" TV I purchased. I think it works perfectly for this I'd recommend getting that attachment as well since it is very sturdy.

That's the case
3/5

OK, I understand. I'm going to make this a very long one, so let's just sum up Most of this is fine. There are pros and cons, and you can find a lot of it for less elsewhere, but it isn't a waste of funds. You need to consider your perspective when determining whether this is a good value. Let's get specific. The following information pertains to packaging and shipping Overall, I was very satisfied with how this went. From the factory, the unit is double boxed Shipper's outer box and retailer's inner Though it was heavier and bigger than any other book, it arrived without major damage. Designed to be packaged separately from the frame, the seat is wrapped separately, while the frame parts are It's not a bad seat, although be careful when opening the retail box because the seat is on top and it is only protected by a thin layer of bubble wrap. If you hit it with a sharp object, it may go through the bubble wrap and FIND YOUR FINISH As soon as I unwrapped the first metal piece, I was blown away by its powder-coating This finish is also known as a coating. Despite the weather, it felt good to wear it. By the time I finished unpacking all the metal pieces, however, my opinion had completely changed because about 30% of the pieces had cosmetic defects. The factory couldn't have done a better job in QA, and the damage was not caused by shipping. This product was priced too high to me. I was disappointed by its fragile finish, which may scratch or chip easily during assembly. Nevertheless, I thought it would be I wasn't expecting much from this place, so I wasn't surprised the faux leather on the seat looks fake. INVITATION TO ASSEMBLY For me, this is where I see my rating take a hit the hardest. The bound instruction manual included in the package led me to believe that the process was straightforward, and there were plenty of color illustrations and pictures in it, but it soon became clear that there were several errors. I have an engineering background, and I have assembled everything from mechanical devices to furniture. There is a disconnect between the images and the illustrations, because the photos show parts that have changed in appearance, while the illustrations frequently omit steps or refer to parts or hardware that do not exist.

My first real problem was There is no assembly required aside from the front and rear slider mechanisms, which are pre-assembled At the factory, the bottom of the seat is glued to the bottom of the frame. The alignment of this item was completely off Despite the fact that the mechanism would not move, the seat could not be connected to the side supports because its holes were not drilled evenly. Since the Allen wrench provided with the tool could not loosen the mechanism, I grabbed a beefier tool from my tool bench. That worked on two of the four bolts, but not the third It is clear that those were driven by a motor. Although the power drill manual warned me not to do so (Yep, I read the manual) I reached for the drill, but one of the bolts still got stuck, ultimately resulting in a stripped thread. My luck prevailed and with just a little persuasion and the third bolt loosened, I was able to straighten the mechanism and attached the side rails. I was on page 1 of the instructions, so I had no chance of starting off well.

The next problem occurred when attaching the seat back to the bottom of the bag. This seat does not have a traditional recline mechanism, but instead features flat brackets that allow the seat to be repositioned A central bolt allows the stamped metal pieces to pivot. The pictures show an entirely different mechanism. The illustrations are not sufficient to tell how to attach the brackets, so my first attempt resulted in the brackets going on backwards, and the holes not aligning. I was not sure how the brackets should overlap once I fixed that problem. It did not seem safe to keep the bolts loose, so I reversed that, which seemed better. Keeping the upper brackets inside puts too much pressure on the pivot bolt, so I kept it loose. The brackets bend, however, when you tighten them, as they are flat metal. While these parts are sliding against each other, their finishes also chip and scratch. Nevertheless, I thought it would be

There is another major problem when the instructions diverge, depending on whether you want an F1 or It's better to use GT, however, the illustrations in the GT section are the same as those in the F1 section, so they don't show how something is assembled. Moreover, the pictures are no longer up to In the end, though, it was easier to figure out at my own pace than the seat, but still daunting. After that, I had to make sure that the seat assembly was paired with the rest of the rig since I had to do In other words, lining up the bolt holes is the problem, not the weight. I recommend that you have a second set of hands to help you with this step if you can. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION There's a lot of good stuff here, but also some bad stuff. One of the benefits of this ability is that most dimensions can be adjusted, making it possible to adjust your setup to your preferences. hand, most adjustments require that tooling be used to remove through bolts, so this is not easy or quick to accomplish. If the rig is being used by only one person, it isn't a big deal, but if it is going to be shared with someone else in the household, or if you are going to let friends use it regularly, then the adjustments will become difficult. It takes a long time even for the seat to recline It is only the knob on this rig which is fully removable, and you need to do this from behind the seat, despite having knobs (the only adjustment on this rig is knobs). This is because the seatback does not have any springs in place to hold it upright, so if you remove the knobs while seated, the seatback will simply fall backwards and hit the floor (in either case, you will also fall forward). Also, I disagree with the way the height of the wheel deck Two bolts are tightened to the elongated screw holes on each upright to complete this friction adjustment. There are two issues at stake here. To set up the deck, you will need a level. Let's say it's The second problem is that you will have to exert a lot of force against this adjustment, which will loosen over time. Since the adjustment is made by vertically sliding one tube into another, gravity will naturally cause the wheel deck to sag, necessitating constant repairs. Generally speaking, this would allow for a less precise adjustment, but solid bolt holes would be easier to secure. On the subject of the wheels, the uprights that connect to the main frame have a lot of play on them. It is in the manual that you can fix this issue with felt pads, but using them will reduce your ability to adjust this dimension (and will mess with the bolt Final recommendation do not alter your F1 setup when switching to the GT setup. You can choose any one and stay true to Rebuilding the rig involves removing through bolts and adding or removing parts. Reconstructing the rig between the two requires removal of numerous through bolts using tools. There is no easy or quick way to do it. AREA OF COMFORT Although the seat is more comfortable than it appears, it does not fit comfortably in the GT position (I won't comment on the F1 position as I haven't used it). In addition, I am uncomfortable with the shifting plate location since it adjusts only forward and backward. As I move from the shifter to the wheel, I occasionally hit my hand on the wheel deck because it's too close to my leg. As for the rest of the dimensions, they should be adjustable so you can carefully customize them to fit However, short people may have difficulty getting a comfortable grasp on the pedals due to their height I am on the tall side of average and need to have the seat all the way forward to reach the pedals. Among the benefits I am - Overall good quality with a solid foundation. I am - A single box for everything If you like this seat, there is no need to purchase a separate Please note that. The game gives you the option to select Please note that. There are plenty of mounting hardware options available, including for your shifter and wheel. Please note that.
The warranty and support are included.
The cons are Please note that. The assembly and the instructions that go with it. Please note that. Metallic pieces were finished to a high standard. Please note that. GT users are not comfortable in the seat - F1 and GT are hard to switch between, and making adjustments quickly is difficult Finally, I would like to leave you with these thoughts It was my intention to look at a number of no-name models in spite of my budget being considerably less than what I paid for this rig. To get certain that I was buying something from an actual company, I increased my budget for the peace of mind I would get, and to have an easier time assembling the rig myself. What about the purchase? Do I regret it? Oh yes, just a little. Though I decided not to return it, I am not thrilled with it and may sell it at some point. As far as the seat is concerned, I will replace it, as it is not comfortable for long periods of use (I would rather sit IN something than ON something), and it is kind of ugly. I will tell you what I mean here Hardcore sim racers may not find this rig to be a great starter rig, so I may have unrealistic expectations. My budget will not permit me to spend considerably more than that on a casual racing car. Although I'm certain I would have complained about a cheaper model, and wished I had bought something more luxurious, having bought something supposedly more luxurious and still having complaints, and still having to spend even more money on an upgrade to the seat, I feel like I've wasted my In my opinion, the grass seems to be greener in the spring and summer. What do you think of this? Should you buy it? All it comes down to is value, and that's subjective. If you want the peace of mind that comes with a warranty and support, as well as are not looking for the cheapest rig possible, this is a reasonable choice. While it offers several things to like, it also has parts to be disappointed in, so do your research and consider all of your options carefully before spending your money.

This Sim Rig has solid entry level features
5/5

It took me several weeks of researching different sim chassis to settle on the one I am using now. I was very pleased with how well it was packaged and protected, the instructions are above average, and the build quality is very good for the price. It took me about two hours to assemble the bike (without adjustments) and I was out on the track shortly afterwards. With the Thrustmaster TX and TM Pro Pedals, there was no flex or noise. Everything was predrilled for the pedals I was using.
