Is it going to be able to fit in there? Yes, but it won't help keep a PS2 slim vertically upright because there's nothing to hold it up. The area is intended for a PS3 slim, which is a much larger model.

While this is useful for keeping the PS3 Slim upright, it tends to obstruct the bottom vents. Reduce the amount of airflow or, at the very least, reduce the amount of airflow. br>I'm curious as to why no top Housing Cover Mods have been made to allow for more airflow where the Cooling Fan is located. I tried looking for one, but I couldn't find any.
If you have a compatible model PS3 slim, you'll know that it's quite wobbly without some sort of support stand; however, what most people want to ask for, for what is essentially a hunk of specifically molded plastic, is stupid. I don't see the point in paying more than necessary for one of these unless it has additional features (I've seen a couple that included a USB hub, for example). It can still tip with some effort, but having it vertically with this stand makes it a lot more stable. br>br>If you're looking for something like this to keep it steady against an active cat or a nosy toddler, I'd recommend a wall mount with more substantial bracing. This is sufficient for my current needs.
PS3 accessories, especially for the original 'Slim' chassis, are becoming increasingly difficult to find. This off- It was a cheap and well-fitting brand stand, and it appears to be the only one on Amazon these days. I didn't have any of the tightness issues that other reviewers had. There are no adhesive feet to fall off, so two inset rubberized pads run the length of the underside to prevent scratching and sliding. The only drawback is that our kitten is disappointed that she can no longer sleep on the Playstation.
I'm not going to lie, I tried to tip the stand over with the PlayStation on it, but it only moved a fraction of an inch, so I laughed. I will say that if you place the PlayStation 3 in the center of the stand with nothing attached to it, it will keep the PS3 locked in very well and will not allow the PS3 to slide back and forth easily. However, if you pick it up with the PlayStation on the stand, it will come crashing down like the egg that had a great fall. lol Overall, a fantastic product. My PS3 is vertically stacked next to my PS4 while I wait for my PlayStation 5 to arrive in a few days.
It'll fit a slim PS3 on either the left or right side; I've got mine on the right side, with the disc tray down, and it works perfectly.
I'm at a loss for words. This piece of plastic serves as a vertical balancer for my PS3. It hasn't tipped yet, it fits my model, and it frees up some space. Win win.
If you put it on incorrectly, it will immediately begin to lean over after you release it. br>br>I'm not concerned about it falling over now that I've set it up correctly. It's understated and unobtrusive.
Of course, I mounted my PS3 slim on it. It's well carried out. The mini side is about 1 or 2 milimeters away from the side and does not touch it. However, it holds the bottom well and the system does not tip over, indicating that the product is capable of supporting your PS3. There will be no issues.
