The software will be installed on a home PC running Windows 10 for use at home. The computer will serve a variety of purposes, including gaming in addition to professional transcription work at home, so in addition to excellent audio quality I need a microphone that works well. It all came to me and more. This set comes with a control box that gives me so many adjustment options that no matter what I do, I can set it up perfectly.
I purchased these to replace a different model of Turtle Beach headphones that I had previously purchased as a refurbished unit on Amazon from a third party. I was a bit hesitant when I purchased them. It was unfortunate that the microphone on those units did not work whatsoever. I am so grateful to Amazon Customer Service because I was able to receive a refund on the item immediately and it was really easy to return the defective item. Taking a risk, I bought another Amazon Warehouse Special to find out if it would work. They were categorized as, "out of box" and stated that they wouldn't be in their original packaging or contain any literature or instructions that would usually be available with them. There was just no way I could pass up this awesome deal- A very high-speed Internet connection was up there, however An amazing headset was available for an unbelievable price, so I jumped at the opportunity. It is impossible for me to express how happy I am. I have not used the headset yet, but they seemed brand new to me. When I plugged them into my computer, they worked and sounded great. The microphone did not work until I restarted my computer, but it now seems to work fine and sounds fantastic. Furthermore, your head will stay comfortable for long periods of time, especially with the padded portion on top of your head and the large padded earphones, so these are great for working or gaming for long periods of time. This pair comes with a really long cord which will be perfect for those who plan on using them with gaming consoles and need a cord that will stretch across a big room. I won't go through the trouble of measuring it, but it's fairly long.

The Turtle Beach headsets were purchased to replace the one I had of my previous model that had failed after a few years. This is my second pair of headphones from them after being so impressed by the sound quality and comfort. The quality of these has not yet disappointed me. It is one of the most comfortable headsets we have ever worn. Some days I can spend up to eight hours a day at my computer and never get any ear pain. As for the sound quality, it is excellent. They are useful for my PC, but the fact that they are compatible with my PS3 is also a bonus (apparently they also work with the new PS4? am not certain of that, but I hope so). There are only two things I dislike about this product the cord is pretty heavy and the plug is really short Quite a large amount of space is devoted to the line volume control portion. The cable is the longest one I have owned on a headset, and I have to position it in such a way that I am not annoyed (if I have the cord running behind me, I can distinctly feel the weight There are really only a few cons, based on my personal experience, and for the price it is a great buy!.
