Ear Force PX5 Programmable Wireless 7.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound Headset with Bluetooth

On my Turtle Beach PX5, I have a pair of cheap Rocket Fish wired that blow the bass away. It seems like a decent unit, as my headphones looked and felt new, however my transmitter base, although it still worked fine, was used, scratched around the plugs, and there was also a lot of dirt and fingerprints on it. It had decent sound quality without bass. That meant that I could hear things I could not otherwise, like distant footsteps, which was cool to hear. A nice variety of sounds were offered by the 8 different presets, and the interface was simple Being able to play on two consoles at the same time was very nice. With a click of a button and a voice prompt, I was online on my other console. I was able to pair up my Bluetooth and use my phone on standby and I had clear sound with no signal issues.

The website was not very user friendly. Many of the links did not work, and the page you were looking for did not exist. As a result, I became frustrated. No one was available for support, so I made no attempt to contact them. It would be my worst complaint if these expensive headsets didn't have good bass quality. To sum it up, it's awful. I have no idea what the situation is. It sounds like a cheap blown speaker. As a result of reading some reviews, I had the impression I wouldn't have any issues like some other reviewers did with reception and connection. In conclusion, this set is not recommended. It was simple to set up. With the optical cable attached directly to my Xbox 360 slim, I was able to watch movies and play games. The Xbox has a USB port that the unit is connected to. As soon as I connected my headset to the transmitter, it was already paired. The headset does not squeeze, the earpieces are cloth covered so they do not stick to your skin (I've seen other reviews refer to hat size of 7 3/4) I have tested it on my head, and it is comfortable. It is a down side to the cloth that there is no seal to prevent outside noise. Once gaming, I am able to completely drown out the noise in the room, even on a low volume level. It takes me about 15 feet to walk from my couch to my As soon as I start playing, I hear music. According to my experience, the surround sound effects are fairly accurate for the amount of time I have heard them. It appears to be an issue with the game during the loading buffer because it happens again during the pressing of the play button. My connection even goes out completely while it is happening, I am not moving at all. My proximity to the router increases and once again it pops and disconnects. I am only 5 feet from the router now. It continues to lose connection even when I try to connect the optical cable to my TV. Due to the fact that I will not be removing any of these items, I am returning the headset. The problems with these products are the same as with most of the other brands. How do you know if your house will affect them? What are the chances that you will not receive a bad set if it is quality based? The fact that I have not even tried another set aggravates me more.
