The controller looks and feels great in the hands, but it is missing where it counts the most: gameplay. The sensitivity of the left analog stick is odd. When you look left or fight, it appears to lag because it will start moving at a certain speed and then suddenly accelerate, almost as if it has broken free. If you're playing a first-person shooter, you'll almost always fly right past the target, and the battery life isn't great, but that's to be expected if the functionality is there. I'm not sure which is worse: a controller like this or an OEM that works for a few months before the L3 and directional pads fail and the warranty requires you to pay to have it repaired.
First and foremost, prior to purchasing this, I read the reviews. This controller does not fit on any Playstation brand charging dock, nor does it fit on an aftermarket charging dock, contrary to what others have said. br>Second-class-class-class-class-class-class-class-class-class- The controller isn't completely sealed; there's a gap that can't be closed all the way around the back and front of it. Third, because you must move the joysticks to the side to press the other buttons, this controller is more difficult to use while playing. br>Fourth-place runner-up The D pad isn't as smooth as the original PlayStation controller, so it'll take some time to get used to. br>br>While the controller fits comfortably in your hand and the built-in grip indentations are very useful, none of the back button attachments will work with it due to the controller's design.
To begin, I'd like to point out that the designs on these controllers are absolutely stunning. When I opened the first one, it looked great, so my teenage nephew immediately took it out of the box, plugged in his headphones, and started playing Fortnite, despite the fact that the headphone jack was broken. Only a static sound came out of it. I contacted the seller, and they promptly sent me a replacement controller. We got it two days later. This one was battered near the headphone port on the bottom, while the first one appeared to be in perfect condition but didn't work. The second one not only didn't work, but it was also covered in chips, dents, and scratches. The company that had just told me they offered lifetime warranties only offered me a $15 refund. I went so far as to offer to return them. I have yet to receive the small refund I was supposed to receive. Prior to writing this review, I had direct contact with them. I even offered to resolve the issue before writing a negative review, but I have yet to receive the small amount they offered, despite their assurances that I would receive full refunds. They also denied that there were any problems with their quality. I'm a quality control inspector who pays attention to the smallest of details. These weren't insignificant details. I'd never have passed an inspection if it hadn't been for the fact that I was a It's ideal if all you want is a controller that looks good and works without the need for headphones. They were willing to work with us on the first one, but they failed to follow through on their promise of a refund, failed to follow through on their promise of a $15 refund, and refused to have them returned.
Ordered for my son, but it wouldn't charge all the way, so it didn't last long before it needed to be plugged in. Charge at a steady pace. I ordered a replacement, and the seller quickly shipped it, but the second one's left joystick didn't work, and it turned the opposite way you turned it. Requested a refund, which they received four days later, but Butter never returned the money. I had to contact Amazon after two weeks to request a refund, which I promptly received. The seller is lying when he claims that he will give you a full refund and that his products are defective. At your own risk, place your order.
That he complains about remotes says something. All of the controls work well, and the battery allows him to play for the entire weekend.
After my first day of use, I am writing this review. This remote was supposed to take the place of my old one, which had broken down. There are a few flaws with this remote. First and foremost, my headset, which previously worked flawlessly with both of my personal PlayStation remotes, no longer functions with this remote. Both coming in and going out, my friends' voices are choppy. After that, every 60 seconds or so, the remote will shut down on its own. Finally, the remote has very choppy sensitivity, it frequently overturns and locks turns, which is extremely inconvenient when waiting for games to load online! The first (and most likely final) day with this remote was a complete disappointment!.
Overall, it's a good remote, but the dead zone renders it useless for FPS gaming. It doesn't detect movement until you move the joysticks far away from the center. This would be fantastic in a game that requires slow, methodical movements, but it would be a complete waste of money in a fast-paced FPS. On my PS4, I reduced the deadzone to zero, but it was insufficient. To move, you must jerk the joysticks, but if you use a high sensitivity setting, you will jump right over your target. Expect to take a long time to complete the task. It comes with scopes. I couldn't get through a single game without switching to my other remote. On my shelf, it's just collecting dust.
Feels good, battery life is adequate; however, what irritates me is that so much effort has gone into the design of the controller, yet it has a terrible headphone jack. The sound fades in and out on a regular basis. The speaker on the controller is also abysmal. There are two controllers with the same problem. My standard PS controller works fine. br>On the plus side, the joysticks have excellent grip and come with rubber inserts that you can use if desired. The controller has a stylish design and is extremely comfortable to use.
