Yes, I agree! I've been using it for years with Netflix, Amazon, etc. It's the cheapest and most efficient way to watch Netflix, and you can still use it on all the other platforms. Directly connected to the TV was my choice. The WiFi connection will work if the band width is enough. Since I do not have more than six, I use direct line equipment. I have two units and I find them to be very effective.

Like this controller has been on my wishlist for a very long time. As part of my pre-school program, I use the PS3 that is connected to the TV We can stream Netflix and Amazon video for three girls and play Blueray movies for them in the master suite. This was one of the things I hated about the PS3. In the event that the girls touched the controller in any way, the movie would pause, fast forward, or do something I didn't understand. Even getting wrapped in one of their blankets caused the controller to go batshit crazy. The experience was horrible to me. one day we got a remote like this for the PS4 and I realized I couldn't live without them and I had to get one for my daughter's The remote was easy to set up, easy to use, and included a great deal of functionality that makes watching streaming videos and blueray content on a PS3 There will be no more remote mishaps that send the girls into a tizzy when they accidentally hit it during their favorite scenes in Disney's Frozen or Trolls. The player will no longer have to panic while trying to find the controller in the chaos created by tangled blankets. I've been using it perfectly so far, and it has made life easier when it comes to girls' entertainment time. I can't speak to durability as I haven't had it for too long, but if I do run into any issues I'll let you know.
I bought a used remote, so no need to buy a new one if a used one will do. As a used item I do not mind the scratches or dings, as I fully understand that they are normal. In any case. I needed it as a replacement for one that broke. It is exactly what was described. As I knew exactly what I was getting, I have no complaints. Even if it isn't the cheapest (at the very same price point it is not), it should at the very least be cheaper than a new PS4 Remote Control.
It is very nice to have another remote for my PS3. I am happy to have been able to get it. Setting up the system is easy. I was impressed with how well it was *BD* I used to have one of those Sony PS3 universal remotes, but it stopped working. Unlike your TV or cable box, your PS3 will not be controlled by the new remote, but it should work great with it. A second thing I like is the shape of it. The buttons are easier to reach one-handed because it's thicker than my old remote and shorter than my old remote.
