After a few minutes of inactivity, it will turn itself off. When watching a movie or Netflix on the PS3, this is a huge annoyance. Although I have the PS3 set to never turn off the remotes, they still do so. I would not recommend this product. I despise having to press the ps button, wait for the remote to turn on, then wait for the sync before pausing the movie.
I despise this product; don't waste your time with it because the battery won't stay charged and it jams. Every time we played, we wouldn't be mashing any buttons, and the people on the screen would be doing all sorts of crazy things. It wasn't the game that was the problem, but rather the lack of control. With the same game, my old controller works perfectly. I tried it with some of my other games, and it did the same thing. It's all a load of nonsense.
They arrived dressed exactly as shown in the photo. As a result, they're great for about 5 minutes. Then, like nematodes in Spongebob, it goes rogue and takes control of your game. br>One minute I'll be out running from the cops, the next I'll be thrown against a wall and forced to turn off the controller. Alternatively, if I'm playing Haunting Grounds, I'll be trying to stay still in order to hide, and then boom! Fiona begins to walk, I am apprehended, and I am killed. Fiona, I'm sorry to hear about your passing. br>Also, the controller keeps making Spongebob walk away from the flowers, which means I can't get into the trees. br>br>Are you familiar with the feeling of having your controller go rogue? It terrifies me. You die.
It's only a small price to pay to be annoyed. I had hoped that these would work, but they did not. They disconnect from my PS3 at random, but the game is not paused. It simply ceases to function, so in racing games, I'll come to a halt while my friend continues to drive, and no buttons will function. I had to have my friend pause the game and then try a million different things to get the controller to turn off and on again, and this isn't the first time it's happened in the middle of a game. I'm frequently unable to use the controller while it's plugged in to charge; the lights flash to indicate that it's connected, but when you press the PS button, there is no response (the controller is not assigned). Because the thumbsticks get stuck without being visible from the outside (for example, not stuck to the side but still affecting your movement in a game), I constantly quit games that require precise movement, which irritates me. Seriously, don't squander your cash.
The quality of these PlayStation 3 controllers astounded me. simply due to the fact that the price was for two! They're silky smooth, almost slick, and the designs are vibrant and detailed. They even include two rubber joystick covers to improve grip! These controllers appear to have a long and reliable battery life. lasting. Since receiving them about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I've only charged it once, aside from the initial charge when they arrived. They are comfortable to hold, with easy-to-push buttons and smooth tapping and clicking. Overall, fantastic value for money and outstanding quality!.
My controller began to act strangely after the second use. My husband then began behaving in a comical manner. They're great controllers, and I liked the grips you can put around the right and left joysticks, but they worked better when we removed them. Whether or not you want to share this on the internet is entirely up to you; however, I liked the controllers and their appearance, and we still have issues with our original PlayStation controllers, so we frequently use these controllers. They're not bad, but I can't say where they rank on a five-star scale, and I apologize for that. I don't have a clear picture of what they can and can't do in comparison to others because I've always had issues with my PS3 controllers in my PS4 controller, and the game is so crazy that we can't even play it yet. It has nothing to do with an Amazon purchase or this specific product; it simply won't let me sign into PlayStation 4 and verify my account so that we can both play. I like the product, and it works well for me. Best of luck, and I hope they work for you!.
I bought these over a year ago to replace a single PS3 controller that had stopped working. They were able to connect to the PS3 on both of their devices. I was able to disassemble and repair my original PS3 controller not long after that. I've been able to use my original PS3 controller with Linux Mint 17. 3 computer, I figured I'd try connecting these to my computer instead, and then use my PS3's original controller. br>br>I attempted to connect the pink one to my Linux Mint 17 system. Three machines were attempted, but none of them were successful. I recall seeing the same signal appear repeatedly, as if it were a stuck button. I didn't try the blue one because I assumed it was a driver issue (since the pink one worked fine with the PS3). br>br>Let's jump ahead to the present. I was able to get the blue one to work with my Linux Mint 19 system. I had no problems with the other two, so I decided to give the pink one a try. It didn't work out. As a result, I reconnected the pink one to the PlayStation 3. The PS3 initially acted as if a button had become stuck, but then it stopped and resumed normal operation. The PS3 appears to be capable of compensating for poor manufacturing quality (i. e. , a controller button that has become stuck) It turns out that the pink controller has been faulty all along. br>br>I haven't tried to return it because it's probably too late for me. br>br>At the end of the day, these controllers work perfectly with a PlayStation 3; If you want to use them for something else (e. g. , a presentation), you can do so. They don't appear to be of sufficient quality to confidently state that they will work with something else (e. g. , PC gaming).
