Questions & Answers
To be honest, I have no idea. Please keep trying because mine works perfectly fine. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.
This is a complete waste of time. I wanted to do exactly that with it, but it was so inconvenient that I decided it would be easier to teach my father-in-law how to use the real remote instead.
It is functional, but rewinding is difficult. It is still superior to the PS3 controller in terms of functionality.
You must purchase the special PS2 in order to play it. That comes with a CD, which you use to save the remote's information to a memory card, and then you can use the remote to control your PS2. This one, however, does not work with it.

It was a lucky find to find this remote. I am extremely pleased for such a low price. Because the battery pack's quality isn't great, the remote was a little difficult to figure out at first. I was unaware that the batteries were not properly connected, resulting in the remote's inability to function. The remote worked right away after a few minutes of fiddling with the batteries. There was no need for setup, syncing, or any of the other features that modern Blu-ray remotes have. It's simply a convenient plug-and-play solution. The remote appears to be capable of working in any orientation (up, down, sideways, and backwards). When your PS3 or Bluray player is hidden behind the TV, you won't have to reach around it. It's not tethered in any way. However, the infrared sensor isn't great, so if you're older than 13-years-old, this isn't the best choice. You will be unable to use the remote if you are more than 17 feet away from the USB sensor plugged into your device. It also doesn't bounce off walls like some of the other remotes I've tried. It isn't a problem, but there is a distinction. I can bounce the IR signal back to the sensor by pointing the remote behind me at the opposite wall with other remotes. For a geek, it's a lot of fun: br>br>The remote's buttons are incredible. They make a satisfying click when you press them down, giving you a clear indication that you've pressed them down. They don't stick at all and appear to last a lifetime; the USB isn't great, but it'll do; I recommend using your fingers on either side of the thumbstick instead of pushing on the back. The LED on the end appears to press in when pressure is applied, so it's better to be safe than sorry. Again, this isn't a problem, but it's worth keeping an eye on. br>br>This remote's response isn't perfect, but it's better than average. It isn't a problem if you sit close(ish) to the television. I retract my previous statement. It's not even close to being an issue. I give it a 5/5 for a low-cost product. br>br>I gave it 5/5 stars due to the high quality of such a low-cost item. br>br>Thank you, Intec!.
Okay, this remote has a lot of potential for me. For the past year, I've been looking for a PS3 remote and have occasionally read reviews in order to find the best one. br>br>The Sony-branded PS3 remote is far too large, lacks a backlight, and has poorly placed buttons (it's far too easy to press the wrong one). The Pros: br>br>The Pros: br>br>The Pros: br>b br>Small, but just right; minimal well-being. Buttons were strategically placed. The Good: It is affordable. br>br>The Bad: It is expensive. br>br> br>There is no backlight (however, the buttons are outlined in white and the number of buttons is small enough to remember). The biggest issue is that in order for the remote to work, it must be pointed exactly at the receiver. The receiver part will light up with a red flash even if it is pointed exactly where it should be, but it will still not work. As a result, you'll need to press it a few times. br>br>If anything changes, I'll update this review. For example, new batteries might help, but I doubt it because it does light up red, indicating that it received the signal. br>br>I'll keep using it because it's still the best PS3 remote out there. Simply ensure that your PS3 is facing forward and that the remote is pointed directly at it.
This is a fantastic method. There isn't much to it, but it can be used by my child, and now that it uses triple-A batteries, we don't have to charge it as frequently.
The remote control functions correctly - You can't, however, use it to turn on or off your PS3. We had to get up to turn on the PS3, then sit and use it for movies or apps before getting up to turn it off so we could use the television again. It may appear insignificant, but with my husband disabled, it simply did not work for us.
If you're looking for a replacement for your controller or another remote, look elsewhere. There's no back button, and no way to navigate PS3 apps like Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime; you can't get out of discs or movie files, and there's no power button to turn the device on or off. You get what you pay for, and I wish I had paid more attention to the fact that this controller does so little.
We needed a remote for our PS3 because we primarily use it to watch movies. Although this remote is small, it does the job. To make the remote work, you must point it directly at the sensor.
For the most part, it works, but you must aim the remote at the fob directly. Also, I am unable to use any other USB device while it is plugged into my PS3. I use my PS3 to watch videos from my flash drive, so the fact that it won't let other devices work while it is plugged in is a little annoying.
Junk. I had to hold buttons down for 20 seconds with fresh batteries just to get some of them to work some of the time, so spend the extra money and get a good one.
