How far can this controller operate? Ours appears to be having difficulty even getting a few feet. ?

I'd say around four. Actually, it's only 5 yards. I can get a long way before the light blinks because I'm out of range.

When you plug in the USB, how long does it take to charge?

My first one lasted about a month and a half. I'm currently working on the second. It's been over a year since I purchased it, and it's still going strong. Mine continues to charge until the battery dies. The first one was purchased on Amazon, and the second was purchased at Walmart.

This control is functional in my PS3 but my PS3 does not work with Bluetooth. ?

For your PS3, you will need to use a WIRED controller. Your PS3's microprocessor chip isn't working properly. My PS3 is a FAT BOY, and it does not support wifi or Bluetooth. A knowledgeable person could probably fix it, but I'd just use the WIRED controller. SORRY! This was a common issue with PS3s from the first generation! GOOD LUCK

Is there an xinput on this controller?

This controller is only compatible with the PlayStation 3. I'm not sure if the Controller is compatible with the Xbox 360. I'm also not sure if this controller supports xinput. I hope this provides some insight into your query. Thanks

Video game controllers are one of my favorite things

This one has gotten a lot of backlash. It lacks vibration motors and has only two axes, and it runs on two dA batteries. Otherwise, the color palette is fine; I assumed there were lights, but there aren't any.

I got the controller, but not the adapter, so I'm not sure how to use it without it.

However, in terms of size and appearance, they are not the same controllers as the originals. They're not quite as big as a standard controller. They only light up to let you know what controller number you're on. It's still a fantastic controller, but I was hoping for a little more.
