For each and every controller I've bought on Amazon - Unless otherwise specified in the description, it does not include a charger.
To pair the controller, connect it to the console via USB cable, then press and hold the PS button until the system recognizes it. br>Once it's been paired, you can turn it on at any time by pressing the PS button while it's not connected to a computer.
I have an Afterglow controller that has served me well for the past eight years. It only requires two AA batteries to operate. It has no ports at all, and everything is completely transparent for easy inspection. It has cool lighting effects with LEDs throughout its interior that wear off after 10 minutes, but it can be inspected. Of course, turn off the lighting effects to save battery life. br> There are no ports, and the only power source is AA batteries, which last a very long time. This is fantastic and ideal for your situation. I don't think they're here.br> GameStop is an option to consider. That's where I found mine. If they aren't available there, search the internet; I'm sure someone somewhere is selling them. They're far too good to be thrown away. There are no ports present, and the water is completely clear. It's powered by AA batteries and functions similarly to a Sony. Please accept my apologies for the other people in this room. They simply have no idea how rotten America's legal system is. br> The criminal justice system in the United States is in disarray. This country has 25% of the world in prison but only 4% of the population is incarcerated. It has been privatized, which means that people are paid to fill prisons. These are the bad guys. Because they are warned prior to inspections, they go unnoticed.
Simply plug it in and wait for the charging indicator lights to illuminate. If it's still unresponsive after 2 hours, it's probably defective; simply request a return from Amazon and ship it back for a replacement.
Selected User Reviews For PlayStation 3 Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller (Black)
The reviews here seemed to be split on whether or not it is genuine, and I've come to the conclusion that the majority of the items sold are counterfeit. It's impressive how well they managed to conceal it, though, because everything about the controller looks genuine, from the logo to the build quality. The only thing that stood out was that they used the Japanese packaging for the Dualshock 3 when it first came out, rather than the newer 2013 packaging, which looks very similar to the Dualshock 4 packaging. This is in addition to the fact that the back label is not made of the same material as the genuine controllers and contains different information. Except for a few minor differences, it appears to be nearly identical. br>Even after being connected to the PS3 for hours, the controller will not charge. Don't buy because it's a waste of money. br>br>Final verdict: if you're looking for a dualshock 3, your best bet is probably going to a physical store, because all of the ones on Amazon appear to be either 3rd party controllers or most likely a chinese ripoff, which I find odd considering the PS3 is still alive and well. These controllers should, of course, work, but if you're already paying $45 for them, why not save a little money? Spend $60 on one and replace it with a genuine one.
This is not the product I received; instead, I got a generic item for eleven dollars. I feel like I've been duped. I paid a premium for an official Sony Controller, so no, I'm not fond of being teased. Be cautious of what you see in the advertisement and on the picture. I thought the price of $33 was a little low, but I checked and it was advertised as a Sony controller, so I figured it was on sale or something.
INSTEAD, GET A PS4 CONTROLLER! (Vibration and the PS Button, however, are not functional. ) HOW TO USE THE PS4 CONTROL WITH THE BLUTTH TO THE PS3 GUIDE. INSTEAD, GET A PS4 CONTROLLER! (though the vibrate and PS Button do not function)br>br>YEAH. INSTEAD, GET A PS4 CONTROLLER! The PS4 controller lasts much longer, is more solid, and simply plays much better than the Sony PS3 Controller (though vibrate and PS Button do not work). br>br>So, the last two Official Sony PS3 Controllers lasted about a month before they stopped connecting and powering off on their own, and the joysticks became sloppy (they still work, but they're useless, and aiming is lost)! I'm now using a PS4 controller (which I got over a year ago and it still feels very good), which is far superior, it feels much better, and I feel I have much more control, though I'd definitely make some design changes if this were my product, such as very short joy stick stems (maybe no stem at all) and options to disable buttons and etc. Regardless. br>br> Though with a Sony PS3 Playstation (yes, I'm using it with my PS3), the PS4 controller is far superior. THREE). The vibrate feature is disabled (though I don't miss it), and the Sony Playstation (PS) button is also disabled. I only play Battlefield 4 on my PS3, so it's not a big deal for me. You can't exit Battlefield 4 with the PS4 controller; you have to power off and on the PS3, or use a PS3 controller to exit games (you can use an old broken PS3 controller with only the PS button working). That's what I'm good at). So, if you want to exit Battlefield 4 and go to YouTube or Netflix, you must either power down or use the PS button on your PS3 controller. br>br>HERE'S HOW TO CONNECT A PS4 CONTROLLER AS WIRELESS BLUETOOTH TO A SONY PLAYSTATION PS3br>1) USE A PS3 CONTROLLER (OR OTHER MEANS) TO POWER UP YOUR PS3 (PS buttons do not have to be plugged into PS3, you can power up wirelessly with bluetooth) and scroll over left to SETTINGS at the PS3 main menu. br>2) go to ACCESSORY SETTINGSbr>3) go to MANAGE BLUETOOTH DEVICESbr>4) go to REGISTER NEW DEVICE and press ENTER (X)br>5) a window will pop up on the PS3 that says START SCANNING, press ENTER (X), and a SCANNING PLEASE WAIT sign will appearbr>5) on the PS4 Controller, hold down the SHARE PS BUTTON until the WIRELESS CONTROLLER once your PS4 controller has been found. br>6) On the PS3 Controller, press ENTER (X); REGISTER COMPLETE should appear; that's it! I have to admit, it almost fooled me into thinking it was a genuine Sony controller. It's impossible to tell the difference at first glance. However, I did use it once. br>br> The buttons are unusually difficult to depress (to the point where I noticed it right away), and the sticks are incorrectly calibrated. You can press the 12 'o clock button perfectly straight and get the same result as if you pressed it anywhere between 10 and 2 'o clock. In almost any game, this will be a huge annoyance. Upon closer inspection and comparison with another genuine Sony PS3 controller I own, I discovered a dead giveaway: My advice is to buy from a different seller because the serial numbers are not the same. br>br> This one sells knockoffs (and not even good knockoffs).
