Is it possible for you to play the microphone in Just Dance?

I'm not sure because I don't own that game, but it's one of the more popular ones and it's supposed to work with a wide range of games.

Has anyone used this microphone with the Xbox Karaoke app, which is available for free?

I haven't used that app, but I have used the mic on my PC to record audio for podcasts and other purposes, as well as on my Xbox for rockband, and both have worked flawlessly. I'm confident it'll work.

Is it possible to play Rockband with the microphone?

Yes, I used a PS2 to test it out.

The Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC are all supposed to work with this microphone. I tried this product on a PS3, a Samsung DVD player, a PC, and a MAC, and it didn't work in any of the options I tried. This product did not come with instructions on how to adjust settings or use it, but after experimenting with it in a variety of ways, I was able to figure out how to use it. There was no sound at all. I wouldn't recommend this product unless someone can show me how it works and how they did it.

The cord is quite short, so if you want to "rock out," you are too close to the television to have the sound turned up all the way

I was disappointed when my wireless mic needed to be replaced, and was happy that this worked with my xBox 360 so we could play rockband. However, the cord is quite short, so if you want to "rock out," you are too close to the television to have the sound turned up all the way.

I purchased this in the hopes that it would be suitable for my singstare gaming needs. It is ineffective. In addition, I tested it on my Xbox 360 and it worked for ten minutes. I've tucked it away in the closet and haven't looked at it since.
