After my last old TV died, my basic issue was using my beloved PS2 with "new technology" TVs, given that PS2 games are not compatible with 1080p Smart TVs, meaning I had no more play of PS2 games because of poorly rendered images. Due to my love for PS2 gaming (see my slight rant in the Portta review), I knew I'd have to come up with a solution. The best solution emerged from a lot of research If you want these cables, upgrade to them so they have five outputs, instead of three, and connect them to your HDMI converter. Basically, these cables run from my PS2 (and yes, they work great on the PS2) into the Portta HDMI Converter the portta box then connects to my TV via the standard HDMI cable. There is a second upgrade of the signal which comes from these component cables, plus a final bit of improvement generated by my TV "cleaning" up the HDMI signal a bit. The end result is that my old PS2 now looks great on my new TV, and I am very happy with that! I hope my PS2 fans out there won't be disappointed when their last "tube" TV finally fails - you can still enjoy the game Now, all you have to do is purchase these cables and the HDMI converter box and you're ready to go! All is well with them The gun is well constructed and quite heavy. The cables I needed to work were not working. In order to check out the image on the TV I plugged in my PS3 and plugged in my USB drive. Yes, it was the horrible 480p resolution that the composite cable outputs, but after reading that you must adjust the display settings on the PS3 to get 1080p, everything was okay. The setting was changed, and BOOM! The page appeared in my browser! It was virtually impossible to tell the difference between HDMI and VGA. I love it! My life has been so much easier now that I don't have to find another shady technician, try to fix my own system, or buy a new one. Under $13, I can have a PS3 that is running as well as new! As a backup, I am now placing an order for a second cable There is no need to worry if you have a damaged HDMI input on your PS3. You have found the solution to all your problems!.

Getting these after reading a lot about how they might improve overall quality of graphics (games were very blurry before I got them) convinced me to get a PlayStation 2. Although I know the PlayStation 2 could only be improved in terms of video gaming quality It is true that my graphics have improved a great deal thanks to these component cables. Although I knew that there are cheaper component cables out there, I hesitated to purchase these at first However, I would like to point out that the extra dollars spent are well The cables I am reviewing are excellent and I recommend them to anyone that is unsure about them. It is simply a personal perspective and review based on my experience.

The order was placed on Monday night and the product was received Fast shipping and no minimum order are two things that make this offer stand out. It was a very happy day for me. Although I plugged everything in, turned the TV on, and switched the composite input on the TV, nothing happened when I turned the PS3 on. When I received my package, I believed it to be When I searched on google it came up that you have to hold the power button down when you turn on the PS3 until you hear a beep twice before you can select composite output. As soon as I did this, the video started playing, but it was in After setting the PS3 display settings to 1080p, I was able to view the game in that resolution. Reviewing this cable and seeing pictures for more than a week gave me an impression of how much I can expect from it. Some games run better on this platform include GTA 3 and GTA VC as well as GTA SA and Orphen Scion of Sorcery. Also, I tried true crime new york but the graphics were terrible and I felt that the developers rushed that game even though it was clear that the game wasn't designed correctly. Definitely recommend this cable to everyone you know just take your time and plug the cables in the correct order. I accidentally switched the two red cables and Vice City looked blue but once I realized my mistake and corrected it, it looked normal with the pink Heads up display at the top right corner.

In a nutshell In spite of its speed and undamaged packaging, the cable does not fare well as a premium cable. Connecting the device to a PS3 results in an unwanted visual interference on the screen. Lines obscure the image, making it impossible to view properly. If you disassemble the cable, you will find the poor quality of its integrated cables, and you will lose money. Compared to traditional Chinese cables, this one does not exceed the quality of a conventional 2 dollar cable.
