Questions & Answers

Is it possible to change the lighting? Is it possible to program different colors?

Yes, to some extent. You can change the color of each key (Yellow, Blue, Light Blue, Red, Pink/Purple (looks pink to me), Green, and White) by pressing FN End twice and then the key you want to change. You can also get a few extra colors (for the entire board) by pressing FN Insert and letting it cycle through the colors you want (this gives you more color/shade options than the main colors listed earlier - To pause on a color, press FN Insert once more. The FN Page Up key will cycle the colors across the keyboard, allowing for some gradient color patterns to appear on the board - To pause a gradient, press the FN Page Up button once more). FN Delete will cycle a rainbow effect across the keyboard, which you can pause if you prefer a static gradient of colors flowing from one side to the other, or leave animated if you prefer. FN Home will animate the colors on the board as they move from the inside (around the J key) outward - It does not appear that I can pause it. When you press FN Page Down, the keys appear to be turned off, but they will light up when you press them - The color is changed by pressing Fn Page Down once more. The only color set you can fully customize and "program" to stay the way you set it is the FN End individual key customization; the others will revert to their normal function when you restart; for example, my QWEASD and number keys are set to Red, and my F1-F12 keys are set to Blue. F12, space bar, arrow keys, and the rest of the keyboard are all set to White, while the rest is set to Light Blue. Even after I unplugged the keyboard from my computer, this color combination was saved in the keyboard. The brightness can be adjusted using the FN Up and Down arrow keys. The animation cycle speed is FN the /-. keys. In case you're curious, the Vara K551-A is a The Kumara K552 and RGB RGB appears to have the same colors and settings as CMYK, with the exception of the number pad.

What's the difference between a rainbow backlight and an RGB backlight?

"RGB has programmable lights (any color), but you can't change the rainbow. Only the colors shown in the image, in that order, make up a rainbow. It is impossible to change the rainbow. The RGB color scheme can be altered. "br>How do you tell the difference between rgb and rainbow colors? Amazon .

Is there a jack for a pair of headphones?

We connect our headphones to the computer.

Is it possible to swap out the key switches?

That is correct. The switches can be swapped out for other Outemu key switches in a matter of seconds.

Kumara K552 RGB programmable lighting instructions in their entirety
5/5

It has good initial build quality and satisfying clicky keys, as others have mentioned, but if you ordered the programmable RGB version, you may be frustrated, as I was, that the product manual and manufacturer's website instructions do not explain how to program the keys. Here's how to do it:br>br>1. (Thanks to seller ChallengerUSA for providing these instructions)br>br>2. Press the FN key and the'(Tilde) key at the same time.
2. Press FN and the right arrow key when the red lights on the right (Caps and Scroll Lock indicators) start blinking.
3. You'll notice that the'key glows a specific color; To change the color of any key on the keyboard, simply press it.
4. To change colors, press FN and the right arrow key. For that color, press any key you want.
5. (You can also set individual keys to not be lit at all during this process. ) Repeat step 4 until you've customized all of the keys to your liking. )
6. When you're finished, press FN'to exit customization mode and resume normal operations with your keyboard.

It is possible to tame the clacky boi
4/5

We've got a clacky boi on our hands, and he clacks like a boi. br>br>Tl; Tl; Tl; Tl; Tl; Tl; Tl; Tl; This roaring dragon is a fun little attention hog that is well worth the minimal effort required to tame. The solution consisted of rings and a towel. br>br>In comparison to the other mechanical keyboard I own, the Kumara is like a hyperactive younger sibling: it's bright, loud, and demanding, and I adore it. COLOR AND LIGHTING: br>br>COLOR AND LIGHTING: br>br>COLOR AND LIGHTING: br>b It has so many RGB presets that I'm not sure it remembers them all: br>br> left/right sweeping, pulse, shimmer, fade, pulse, solid color, touch light- the list goes on and on (You can change the color of the solid-state device by cycling through them all mechanically with FN INS through PgDn. ) Using the arrow keys, you can change the color of the pulses or the direction of the pulses. ) The RGB lights stand out against the white case and keys. And while you're typing, it has a lot to say. SWITCHES: br>br>BUTTONS: br>br>BUTTONS: br>br br>br>The bright, bouncy feel of these blue switch keys, combined with their satisfying click, is something I can't get enough of. SOUND: br>br>SOUND: br>br>SOUND: br>br>SO It's not just the blue switches that make it audible. This tiny wyrm is the loudest in his clutch because of three sounds: (1) You have your clicks, which are generated by the switches; (2) You've got your clacks, which are caused by the bottoming out of the plastic keycaps on the body; When the keys are popped back into place, you'll hear a ping resonating through the metal body. Put all of that on a metal/plastic combo body that amplifies like a drum, and you have a keyboard that sounds like a room full of tiny, angry, old-school keyboards. Inside, timey reporters live. br>br>However, the Kumara's roar should not deter you. It's possible to bring it under control! Don't get me wrong: this isn't going to be a quiet keyboard, but you shouldn't be looking at blue switches in the first place (switches are color-coded; Blues are made to make you go "click!" br>br>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: br>br>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: br>br>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Here's how I tamed this wyrm: br>br> 1. br>br> the ring, in particular.

I absolutely adore it! This is an incredible keyboard
5/5

That's pretty much all I have to say. I've only had it for a few days (and will update if necessary), but I'm already in love with it! It's incredibly relaxing to type on, and your fingers feel like pillows. The actuation force is ideal in my opinion, and the clicky clacky sound (especially coming from a quiet membrane keyboard) is extremely satisfying. Because I rarely used the number pad, this tenkeyless keyboard is a great space saver. I paid $59 for the fully RGB edition. It was only 99 cents, and it was well worth it! Because of the weight, I immediately recognized the box as being of high quality. It felt very nice to the touch when I took it out of the box, and it appears to be worth at least $100. It also looks fantastic with all of the RGB leds and their various functions and colors. I was only using a membrane keyboard at the time, and I'd never used or even felt a mechanical keyboard before. I can already tell I'm smitten with mechanical keyboards; I'm typing this review on one right now, and I don't want to stop because it's so satisfying! If you're looking for a reasonably priced mechanical keyboard, this is the one to get! It is unquestionably worth every penny and then some. If you want different colored backlighting on your keyboard and have $60 to spare, the RGB edition is the way to go. I pressed FN end twice and changed the colors of the leds to match the Seahawks'. Go hawks! I chose free shipping because I wasn't in a hurry to get it (despite the fact that I needed it as soon as possible), and it arrived in just over a week. I apologize for the length of this review (if you're still reading, please click the helpful button below), and I'm afraid I'll have to put this keyboard down for the time being: (In any case, I highly recommend this keyboard! Have a wonderful day. ) br>br>*UPDATE
I just wanted to let you know that I figured out how to turn on the leds when the computer is turned off. All you have to do is hold the FN button down until it turns on, or press FN END or whatever it takes to get it to turn on. So now, whenever I turn off my computer, I turn on the leds as a distraction. You can also change all of the leds, just like when the computer is turned on, and customize the leds by pressing FN END/5. I just wanted to update the review so that anyone who was curious about whether or not you could do it now knows. Also, the keyboard is still in excellent condition, and I am very pleased with my purchase.

3/5

On June 30, 2018, I purchased an RGB keyboard. I got a message. I bought a K552-. On June 30, 2018, I purchased an RGB keyboard. On February 7, 2018, I received it. I noticed the "z" key wasn't working after 14 days. On July 15, 2018, I sent an email to ChallengerUSA informing them of my decision. They asked for my order on July 16, 2018, which I gave them. I was notified on July 17th, 2018 that a prepaid label would be delivered the following day. I haven't heard anything since three days.

FOR THE PRICE, THIS IS THE BEST RGB KEYBOARD YOU CAN GET!   All I have to say is that this is the best keyboard you can get for the money; it has RGB and the blue switches feel identical to the mx cherry blues; don't waste your money on other keyboards when you can get this for $40
