The system can it withstand a closed fist every now and then?

Why should I buy one at all? If you are a rager, there is no point in getting one if you end up buying another out of stupidity. It is a waste of If you are unable to maintain your composure, you should stop playing games.

It refers to the two-year plan Does the toned color of the keys distract you in any way when they aren't lit?

You have to think about it from your perspective, I guess. There are black keys on the top half and white keys on bottom halves. I found the color of the keys to not be distracting at all, but then again I don't usually look at the keyboard when typing. It is much more distracting to have the keys lit up when they are otherwise dark.

Does the wrist rest not come with it? Is this going to be a separate product?

When you upgrade it, it's currently about 150 dollars. It does come with a wrist rest however, you have to upgrade it to get the wrist rest.

What color options are there for creating your own custom Is it better to use the color white or solid white?

If you want to create your own colors, you can do so. If I press the space bar, I find that mine stay white and change from white into bright pink, then fade out.

I am sure that will be my reward! In order to begin this review, I must get one major thing out of the way. Due to my disability in 2017, at 40 I was forced to retire. I was fortunate enough to be able to do so. I have a major problem with swelling, and yes, in my hands as well. As a result of my retirement, I was unable to do many of the things I enjoyed doing. I decided to begin writing again as an outlet for my creative energy. It took me a long time to find the right keyboard. Here is my review of the keyboard. My search for the perfect keyboard has taken me quite a while and yes, I have spent a lot of money on the search. It is not my hobby to play video games. As a graphics programmer, I am mostly focused on writing. I quickly realized that "chiclet" style keyboards weren't going to work with this program. The bottom of the wheels goes against the backplate, which causes them to be hard. If I used them for more than an hour at a time, I would experience physical pain. So after a lot of pain and no less than 4 different "highs," The "end" keyboards I had to look for kept popping up. I just know they will someday end up in my keyboard drawer of demise. Okay, now for the mechanicals, well, that's gonna be a nightmare for sure! Starting with Razor and Corsair, I moved on to other brands. As soon as I turned on my first switch, I realized that it wasn't In order to be certain I was engaged, I had to bottom out the key before I could be sure I had engaged it. In addition, I have a lack of fine motor skills in my fingers as a result of being disabled. My fingers aren't completely numb, but they're sufficiently numbed so that I do not get tactile feedback. MK2 and the Huntsman went to the drawer to entomb the corpses. As well, I moved on to looking for a low profile, considering that the actuation length might be a problem. A membrane keyboard was also experimented with Ornata was a no go as well. That switch had the same issue with bottoming out and hitting the backplate too hard. MK2 Low Profile in red was a no go as well. I felt the pressure required to engage the switch was a bit off. Then I went on to test a Redragon low profile keyboard, and 3 more keyboards with brown switches as well. I have been working on this project for a little more than two years before you judge me. In order to improve the wrist rest experience, I would try different form factors and wrist rests. Over all, I bought 11 keyboards and I have them in my drawer now, so I'm probably $1,200 or so out of pocket. I was survivin' and writing by playing keyboard merry-go-round, and until this point my survival has been based on this. There are rounds. As soon as I start to feel pain, I switch to another keyboard. As a result, I switch at least once, but most often twice a day. Of course I write and use graphics applications quite a bit too. In general I sleep between four and six hours a day, but some days I sleep as much as twelve since my pain makes it difficult. It was only earlier this week that I discovered the Elite 2. The package arrived yesterday morning shortly after I ordered it. Initially, I thought this was a beast. It was well-built and heavy - and that was something I really liked because I have been sliding keyboards around because I am bottoming them out a lot. I have mine plugged in and it is It was lovely to look at the lighting. In terms of physical experience, RGB doesn't really add anything to the typing experience. There is something else more important in it. Adding sunshine and inspiration to my day is what it does for me. Color science has a lot to offer in the sense that it boosts creativity and helps you relax. So, I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent lighting on this board, which is the best of its kind I have seen. Lastly, the most important part. These switches are like butter on my fingers. They are smooth enough that I didn't feel any pain while using them. As far as the keys are concerned, they are a bit more spread out so learning them is going to take a while. But man, they feel good. They are simple and perfectly tailored After just one day, I had been using the keyboard almost 10 hours. The keys weren't damaged in any way when I bottomed them out. This switch works very well. The response was amazing, and the travel distance was perfect. The switch's resistance is perfectly balanced with excellent back pressure, so the switch needs a little pressure to operate. I have been ill for most of the past two years, so this was the most pleasing experience I have had since then. This product won me over to HyperX, and I would like to thank you for it. Here's all I have to say about this keyboard - it feels like it was made just for me. I paired this purchase with the HyperX wrist rest, and it was an excellent choice. Together they made for an even better experience. I was very impressed with the rest. It fit perfectly to the board height and width and was supportive without being too firm.

It's almost perfect The HyperX Alloy Elite 2 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is like a tank, so it's solidly built
4/5

The key board I own is by far the best I've ever had in terms of construction and craftsmanship. As soon as a key is pressed, it is silent and has shallow travel. I do not have any complaints about the keyboard as a whole, now we'll look at the cons. In addition to being mediocre at best, ngenuity's implementation is poor due to the fact you have to If you use a Razer or Corsair keyboard, this problem does not exist. Download directly from their site without having to sign in to When you turn off NGENUITY, the standard three profiles are reverted back to the defaults. If you do not have the software running in the background, you cannot enable a color theme. In addition to creating three new custom profiles, users will not find the software user friendly or intuitive like other vendors' software. If I were to only review this keyboard, I would have given it a perfect 5 stars, but the ngenuity software made me feel sour. If they want to compete with other premium keyboards, they must improve.

The overall quality of this keyboard is great, compared to my previous keyboard, the It is nice to hold the Alloy Elite 2 Low Profile
5/5

This gun feels nice in your A little wobble can be heard, but the keys are able to stand up well. As a result, I was surprised at how nice it feels, It's light on the fingertips and feels wonderful as a keyboard. Again, because my keys are typically low profile, this is a huge compliment to me. I knew these keys were louder than what I'm used to, but they're not as bad as I thought they would be. The key is heavy on my fingers when I type, but someone who types with more grace would find these keys enjoyable too. There are no words to describe how bright that is. Because of my preference for static red or green and the brightness being turned way down, I won't be able to utilize the full lighting potential. There is a kind of wish that the brightness, profile, and game buttons were illuminated, but it's not super crucial. In contrast to the metal wheel used on Corsair boards, the volume wheel feels more solid and provides better grip. The keys on the media player are smooth, no jerking. A nice touch has been added with the rubber strip on the foot pad. Okay, I will tell you my bad points. One of them is that Ngenuity software is not very straight forward. You might have to do some research on YouTube and watch some tutorial videos to understand it better. This is not as bad as some of the others, but it does take a little bit of getting used to. This is going to be a big one for us. The way this was shipped did not appeal to me. As a regular Amazon buyer, I'm used to seeing a brown box and some padding to protect my purchase. The letter was thrown into the mail just as it was. Since the package was shipped through UPS, the odds of it being thrown around were high. As soon as I saw the keyboard, I fully expected it to be broken. The package my devices come in is something I keep, I don't know about others.

The keyboard is amazing, but the software is in need of a lot of improvement
3/5

The company forces you to use the beta version of nGenuity software from microsoft, which is incompatible with RGB Fusion software on my motherboard. To use the beta software, I must close RGB Fusion, which causes all dynamic effects from my motherboard and fans to cease. Basically, the old HyperX profiles for keyboards from the old Ngenuity are not supported. It is possible that the gamelink only works about 15% of the time. It is impossible to save profiles to the keyboard. There is no way to switch between custom profiles without going through the app, since the button you assign to switch colors actually doesn't do what you expect it to do - allows one profile to be in use at any given time
The app must be open in order for it to be used, making it clunky and not very appealing on desktop platforms. As much as I like to set up my RGBs software and forget it, I find fiddling with it on a regular basis to be tedious. I want it to look great and be able to run straightaway without having to change any profiles for the games and apps I use at In spite of the software being available in the Microsoft Store for more than two years, this issue still persists. Come on Hyper X, sort it out! Despite loving the keyboard, I find this software to be very annoying. I would rate this product a 5 out of 5, if not for the software.
