Until a recent Razer update suggested installing their crypto mining software, I was fine with this keyboard. Although it is optional, I find it very concerning that they would even consider pushing it out to I would have been fooled if I hadn't read the details, because it would have installed software that would use my GPU to mine crypto currencies They do pay you with Razer merchandise credits, but there is a cap on how much you can earn, and the cost of electricity looks to be greater than the value of the credits. As a result of this incident, Rater lost a lot of my trust. I don't want to have to worry about signing up for a crypto mining agreement when I install drivers for my keyboard.

The Razer BlackWidow X Chroma is the best raster sound you will find. In my opinion, this is one of the best keyboards I've Aside from the RBG lighting effect, I am also a huge fan of the clicky sound the newly revamped Razer green switches make The sound is almost identical to the blue MX cherries. Once you go blue, you won't be able to type on a non-clicky Recently, Razer switched their switch supplier and has made incredible strides with regard to performance and quality. My Corsair K70 RGB keyboard ended up being returned because the clicks were so loud that I couldn't stand them. The mistake I made was at the store when I made the purchase When I looked at the key I mistook it for- 'Click' the switch while the key goes to the bottom. There is a gray style switch found exclusively in Corsair equipment that gives The word tactile conjures up images of mushy texture. It is more comfortable for me if the switches snap together cleanly. As far as this keyboard is concerned, here are some of the things Please continue reading. . . Those are some awesome clicky keys*- The frame is built of heavy and sturdy metal. I was appalled at the RGB lights (better than my Corsair K70 lights ever were)*- Keystrokes that are smooth, light, and crisp - The cable management trenches in the back of the keyboard did not meet my expectations. Below are my disappointments - I did not have a wrist rest * I have seen Razer products with magnetic wrist pads and they would have been awesome. Some keys have very small font sizes which make it difficult to see the RGBs (the 'alt' button has very little light that passes through, however, I would still consider the RGB effect to be superior to the competition)

The price is also very reasonable. It is about $100 to get all of the best RGB's on the market with switches that are head and shoulders above the competition How do you beat a head to head with the legendary cherry mx blues? In comparison, the prices from other manufacturers will be substantially higher, and I doubt there is any price that compares to this one. It's not only by far my favorite keyboard to use, to code with, to type with, and to game with, but also it's the most fun to code It is in fact the product I am writing this review with right now, it has been my longest review of a product yet. I also have one. As far as typing performance is concerned, I'd put them close to the same. Compared to Das pro, it is a little bit better for keystroke performance, but it isn't LEDs, however, are not included in the Das pro. The Razer BlackWidow X Chroma is at home, while I use the Das Pro at work. I really enjoy this keyboard, I switched from a mechanical keyboard about a year ago and I've been enjoying it ever since. If you make the switch to mechanical keyboards you will love it in the same way, I'm sure you will as well! In the event that anything goes wrong with quality, I will be sure to update this post accordingly. *B/R (Note I ended up buying some white PBT plastic keycaps to go with the picture, which seem to make the RGBs stand out.

I have used many different keyboards before this one, and it remains my favorite. You asked some great questions, so I will answer them here. So far, I've used the Blackwidow chroma v1, the Corsair k95 platinum, razer blackwidow v2 (green switches), and the Now there are two of them (speed switches). As of now, the blackwidow v1 should have razer switches which are no longer kailh, so you can go for it if you're a fan of that blocky gamer font and want those macro keys with the passthroughs. In my opinion, the font isn't as appealing as it should be, and the audio passthroughs aren't necessary unless you're on a laptop or something without those plugins. In summary, I recommend the Corsair K95 Platinum only if you love brown switches and don't mind the blocky gamer font with the insane price tag. I miss the media keys and usb passthrough this keyboard lacks though (which is the only thing I I got the X because I could not find the blackwidow v2 in white and it had a usb passthrough and wrist rest, but I will say that the keycaps are lower quality and there is a wrist rest that is not included in it. It is one of the mks. Cherry switches and a range of controllers are nice for people who like cherry switches, so it's hard not to recommend it, but for me, I wanted it in white, and so I had to get the speed switches (the only switches available for the SE) and Hence, here I am at the page for such a keyboard, which is white with a clicky or ring pattern, but also has a higher-quality build in certain places, like It is located at the top of the keyboard. There are two rattles so bad that it's truly awful, especially for a keyboard that costs $170 million.

Such a cool keyboard! I really love it! This is just what I want to say. Besides the feeling and being great to listen to, it looks and sounds better too. But if I rub my socks against the carpet and touch the side again, I will be able to negate the damage (or likely cause worse damage), and I will be able to turn on all the lights and the keyboard will turn off then on again. My computer needed to be restarted or the USB plugged in and out repeatedly, which was the only way I could get my keyboard lights to all light up again before I realized what was causing the short.
