According to what I've read, these keys aren't the best match for the SteelSeries Apex Pro. I'd read that the space bar and shift keys were prone to becoming stuck. These keys fit perfectly and look fantastic, and I had none of those problems.
So I have the Razer Blackwidow Elite (green razer switches) and I read some reviews on here that said I could put these bad boys on there except for the bottom row or something like that (including the spacebar). As you can see in the photo, the keys that are not usable are the FN and print keys, it is by using the tool that came with the keys rather than removing them completely. Remove clip wire from the keyboard, insert the FN and print keys. I only gave it four stars because of the brightness, but that is largely determined by your keyboard.
I'm not sure if it's just the huntsman te, but they didn't seem to pass through the rgb very well, especially when the room's lights were turned on. I don't have another keyboard to test them on, so I'm giving them four stars in case it's just my keyboard; otherwise, they feel solid.
These were purchased for my K95 RGB with the understanding that the layouts would not be identical. With the exception of the bottom row (space bar and modifier keys), everything is in place. Even with the minor incompatibilities, these keycaps look fantastic and I believe they were well worth the money. br>br>The only problem I have with these caps is that one of them (right shift) has mold ejection pin markings on the top surface of the key. The sheen on them is off enough that you can tell if you look at them from the right angle. These marks aren't immediately noticeable, but they're there. Despite the minor flaw, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.
1 set of keys I own three generations of the Corsair K70 keyboard, including the K70 RGB MK, which does not have any RGB (Red LED) lighting. 1 & The K70 RGB MK is a model of the K70. 2nd version of Rapid Fire. I while the two previous generations were still 100% operational the keys had begun to show signs of their age use. I decided to take a chance on these HyperX Pudding PBT keycaps because the Corsair PBT double shot replacement keycap sets were out of stock. With the exception of the space bar, these caps are 99% compatible with the Corsair K70 keyboards. both of the windows keys I re-keyed the original Corsair spacebar keys because they were still in good condition. both the original spacebars and the original windows keys were used. It's worth noting that the right windows key required a minor modification of shaving down the right side of the key to fit into place unrestrictedly. You won't be able to tell that the key was ever modified to fit once it's been installed. Overall, I'm pleased with the end result, especially since these keys highlight the RGB color scheme. The effects of LEDs are superior. HyperX Pudding Keycap PBT set is roughly 1/3 the cost of the Corsair PBT keycap set, is brighter than the original Corsair factory keys, and is more durable. I'm going to wait until the Corsair PBT keycaps return to stock before ordering them for my K70 RGB MK. 2 Rapid Fire keyboard, so I can compare PBT keys to HyperX PBT keycaps directly.
Stunning. I think bigger fonts would look better on this, and it would definitely improve the contrast, but I can't say I'm complaining. The only strange thing about these is that they're supposed to be for Hyperx keyboards, but instead of a second windows key, they come with a function key. This indicates that the right-hand Windows key is incorrect. It's fine; I'm not dying; it's just odd. If you purchase this keyboard with a 2 after it, it comes with these keycaps already installed. installed, as well as the appropriate number of Windows keys It's a minor annoyance, but so be it. They appear to be fantastic!.
Now, if you don't mind typing on any keyboard, don't care about mechanical keys, and are only concerned with aesthetics, these are probably fine, but if you care about the typing experience, keep reading: br>br>I installed these on my kinesis rgb split gaming keyboard, and while not all of the keys on my kinesis could be replaced with these pudding key caps, the majority of them could, with the exception of a few custom-shaped ones. This was fine, and everything looked rgb-friendly. ey, with a lot of light. it appeared to be quite cool After a few months of use, I switched everything back to my original keycaps this morning. While these keycaps are nice and bright, I noticed that they have rather sharp edges that stab your fingers. This may seem like a nonsensical complaint. It's not painful, but it causes me to think about my keyboard more than I should, particularly when I'm writing long emails or doing work that requires a lot of concentration. br>br>I realize this is extremely nitpicky, but I thought it might be useful to someone.
