I am blown away at how good this combo set is for the price. The mouse is everything I expected it to be and the keyboard does everything it should. A casing made of aluminum with multi-colored patterns is built in. There are at least 3 color setting options applied to each color function key (press FN+the key up to 3 times), with the exception of the power key. In addition to this, if there was something I could add, it would be to allow you to use 2 of these patterns with built in custom key mappings. However, you can only choose custom key lighting. My overall opinion is that this is a fantastic product. I will update if there are any issues with it or if it fails on me quickly.

In a nutshell, My keyboard has been working fine for a few months now and my only complaint is that it's too dark on the sides. Despite how light it is, it is incredibly tactile and responsive. I can rely on it to get the job done. It is necessary to have backlit keys as I spend a good portion of the day pounding the keys. I am a writer, so the backlit keys make my life easier, too. The only reason I rated this keyboard as 4 instead of 5 is because I have not yet explored all the features on the keypad. It is unclear whether I am unaware of a quick key that grants access to these secondary features or what, but I have yet to explore all that this keyboard can provide. It's hard for me to find instructions for this model/brand, so I'll have to look it The media features would be useful to me. The solution I have found for my home office PC is perfect for me. As for the only reason I didn't give 5 stars, I had an individual key for the calculator on my old keyboard however, you have to press the Function key then F8 in order to access the calculator on this keyboard.
