Questions & Answers
Yes, this gaming keyboard works on both a Mac and a PC.
Cherry mx red switches with black pudding key caps would be my first choice.
Unknown, these caps have a rounded shape similar to that of an old typewriter key.
Yes, it can only light up in a rainbow effect, but the really cool thing about the keyboard is that it is a heavy duty keyboard with a metal frame, and you can customize your own lighting effects by holding one of the multimedia buttons and pressing the keys you want to light up. Also, the mx black switches on it should be amazing, and the best feature is the knob, which can be used to set all of the keyboard's 19 lighting effects and also if you hold it do nothing.

I'm not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination. The backlit keys are what drew me to it. I'm not sure why gamers require such a beautiful keyboard; perhaps some keys serve specific gaming functions and are thus similarly colored. I have the letter e on my keyboard. The ASDW, up, down, left, and right keys are colored differently than the rest of the keyboard - purple. On the number pad, the number keys are yellow, the operators are red, the number keys on the main keyboard are red, and the other letters are turquoise(?). The function keys are a bright blue (one of those light blues), and the home, ins, pg up, and other keys are green. There are a number of lighting effects that I'm not sure what they're for. br>I like that the caps lock, num lock, and windows lock keys are all indicated. I'm not sure what it's supposed to do. When pressing the keys, there is a lot of wiggle room. You don't have to press hard, but there is enough space between the keys to give the impression that you're pressing more than one key at a time, but it's surprisingly accurate. The body is in a good mood. In comparison to my Logitech wireless keyboard, it sits a little high off the table surface, which I don't like. It makes me raise my wrists - I prefer a keyboard that is as flat as possible. br>It's also not too loud. I was anticipating a deafening clickety-clickety-clickety-clicket clack- clack, but not in the sense that you might think. My other choice was to purchase one of those membrane keyboards, which I dislike. I don't like how it makes me feel. When your computer goes to sleep, the lights turn off. Aside from that, I imagine this could brighten up a dimly lit room. br>br>I'm docking a star because I can't seem to find a mode that lights up all of the keys in the same color. What's the harm in that? There are a lot of strange strobing, running, and flashing effects, but no way to have a single solid color. For me, that feature would have elevated this keyboard to a five-star rating.
Shiny! Because of three factors, I decided to give it to my wife. br>br>1) If the Windows Key has a Lock, I couldn't figure out which buttons to press to activate it. br>2) Has a variety of color options, but no ability to select specific colors. (This was my fault for ordering it while tired. )br>3) My wife walked into the Mancave and exclaimed, "Ooooo!" That is very attractive. "br>br>A lot of Rainbow. "br>br> br>br>I liked the magnetic wrist rest and the look of the keyboard, but I'm used to a few extra features that this one lacks. Bright pink and yellow are also off-putting to me. The keys don't feel like they belong on a gaming keyboard, and they're set at an odd angle.
This keyboard has a lot of cool features, and I really liked it at first. The LEDs and the volume knob are fantastic features. The LEDs look great and perform admirably. There are numerous options available, and the brightness can be adjusted. That's an excellent section. The difficulty lies in the keys. The issue is that the keys are designed in the shape of a square rather than a standard beveled key. This confuses your tactile sense, and when typing quickly, you can easily hit multiple keys, making it extremely difficult to type quickly. I use my PC to work and play games, and I was making a lot of mistakes with this keyboard; using the WASD was impossible, so I had no choice but to order a new one. I'll give this to my 6-year-old son, who is fascinated by LEDs. You might be able to get a different set of keys for this. A key puller is included in the package. Who knows what will happen. But that's just how I've found this keyboard.
Also, I use scroll lock a lot and there is no indicator for it, which is a little annoying, but everything else about it is fantastic.
On December 14th, 2020, I purchased one of these keyboards. I was so taken with it that I decided to buy another on December 30th, 2020. Now it's March 2021, and both of my keyboards are completely messed up. br>br>When the first keyboard became stuck on a key, we attempted to clean it by disassembling it. We've given up on that keyboard because it's so difficult to reassemble the pieces. br>br>The second keyboard was heavily used for gaming. When pressed, a number of keys, particularly my spacebar, make a deafening squeaky spring noise. I'VE ONLY BEEN USING IT FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS! My first impressions of this being a good keyboard have vanished. After only a few months of use, I can't stress enough how bad this keyboard sounds.
It's about as good as it gets for the price. The keys are a little stiff at first, but that'll go away after a few hours of typing or gaming. My only complaint is that the colors behind the keys have been fixed. The number keys, for example, will always be red.
This keyboard only lasted three months before it broke. In that order, I noticed the X, S, and W keys began to fail. After my previous keyboard of almost 8 years finally died, I went out of my way to be gentle with this one and keep it clean. I ordered a new keyboard this morning, so in the meantime, I'll have to mash these three keys to see if they work at all. The shelf life of this product is disappointing, and it is a complete waste of money.
I bought this keyboard for work because I do a lot of computer work and needed one with keys that wouldn't stick or wear out quickly. It's great! It's been a month since I got it, and I'm really happy with it. The only problem I had with it was that the two small legs were uneven, causing it to wobble. I had to use something to stabilize one of the legs, which is why I gave it four stars. Now it's fully functional. The quick volume control is particularly appealing to me.
