There is only a charger for the controller in this package. I believe the only way to connect the switch to the television is to use the original docking station.

In my opinion, I enjoyed using this charging stand much more than the dock for my Nintendo Switch. In the pictures you can see how versatile the charger is! It can charge 4 joycons simultaneously, or 2 joycons plus the pro controller, or you can even dock 2 joycons and the switch so you can play using the device on a table. In addition to the fiberoptic indicators, the clear plastic of the charging indicator provides a bright, vibrant effect. The pictures in the ad do not pay justice to it. I find that when I wait on my switch to charge, I can plug it into my fastsnail charger and it will then turn on right next to me so I can tell if it's finished charging right away. I appreciate how small it is, yet it does not easily topple over. The grip is good. My joycons will no longer wobble while being slid into their dock. I will be able to insert them smoothly into the switch!.
Having this information means you don't need to look through your switch settings to see if your joy cons still have charge. The charging station works well for charging four joycons at the same time, since we play a lot of games with multiple players. The joy cons wouldn't charge and we could only charge 2 at a time on the switch, so we had to wait so many times. Charged batteries are indicated by a red light on the charger When the joy con is fully charged, it turns green. You can just remove one joy con when you're done so you don't have to worry about removing the other three. I cannot comment on how the pro controller works since we do not have one, but I'd imagine it's great since it seems to work with the rest of the equipment. a "on/off" switch on the side of the charger so you don't have to unplug it every time you need to use it.
Having bought this mainly for the Pro Controller's charge/dock capabilities and been impressed with the overall value, I am impressed with its performance. One of my only complaints is the level of brightness provided by Since the light comes through the cracks in the cabinet when it is plugged in, if you are using it in a room where bright light is a problem at night, you will either have to unplug it or cover it with a towel/item of clothing. From the pictures of their product, it seems the bright LED was actually one of the key selling points.
The item was purchased once I had two extra JoyCon systems that I wanted to charge from a console, and had to find a way to do so. It was a flexible alternative to the Nintendo support charging dock since you had the option of charging the pro controller as well. Although I don't own a pro controller, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have the option should I decide to buy one down the road. In addition to the dock, there is a USB port There is no electrical outlet on the wall plug for the C cord. The Switch console can certainly be plugged in, but not the wall unless you have an adapter. In theory, you could also plug a Nintendo wall charger directly into the base and it would work, which I tried out just to make sure, and it worked just fine.
The two lights work correctly, green for go and red for charging. The lighting was somewhat of a complaint on some of these reviews, but I didn't find it bothersome, even when I was staying a toggle switch on the base that can be toggled once each one is done, so the stand can be used as a storage container It made it so I didn't have to unplug the cord to use it for storage, which is the best addition. However, the dock itself does feel flimsy, like the plastic is thinner and not as sturdy as I'd like it to be, but so far I haven't broken anything. I kept the original box with the plastic insert in case I needed to transport the console and JoyCons between my house and my partner's house quite frequently. If I needed to transport it, I could just use the original box. Considering the price point, it is a decent deal, it is cheaper with more options than the Nintendo sponsored version, and I have not experienced any issues with it yet. I received it quickly and had no problems with that. I definitely recommend this product, so far the higher reviews seem to be accurate.
The joy of this is a charge I can't live without As it should, there are pros and cons to the controller. There seems to be some instability with the pro controller slot, though. When I attach the pro controller there is a bit of wiggle. I also noticed that if I move the attached pro controller around a bit, it moves instead of staying put. It's not a huge deal, but it does seem like the usb-type connection is weaker than the USB Having the charger fall off my desk will result in damage to the c port on the switch. I would just like to warn those with pets or kids prone to knock things over that there is a possibility of them doing this.
What a great idea! Having the charging indicator light up lets you know that they are charging, it is easy to put in and take out the joycons as well. The fact that it has an on/off switch on the base is also handy so you do not have to unplug the charger to turn off the lights. In addition, I also used this with a pro controller. It provides a place for me to keep my pro controller and takes up less space than it would when the controller is laid out flat on a In terms of finding the plug on the pro controller, you have to plug it in upside down, and taking it out is a bit tricky because it is secured and you have to brace your hand against the light up towers in order to be able to unplug it. The thing is, this is totally doable, but might require a little explanation if you have friends visiting who just pick up the controller and then try to explain it to the rest of the charging stations. The charging station and controller may be damaged if you wiggle it or if you brace your hands and pull straight up. He bought one after seeing this setup and was so impressed that he bought one as well. In general, you should consider this if you have more than one pair of Joycons!.
