It has the ability to charge objects. It does what it's supposed to do. I don't think I would have purchased this model if I had known the switch only required a standard USB type C charger, similar to a phone charger. a general-purpose The high-output USB type C charger serves its purpose well and could provide more flexibility with additional charging ports. This works fine and does what it says on the tin, but there are more versatile options available for your money.
I thought I'd take a chance after reading the reviews on this product. This charger should not be purchased because it is a waste of money. The end plug broke off into the switch the first time we tried to use it, and when I tried to take it out, it came apart! It was completely destroyed! We needed to locate a Best Buy and buy a charger there. This is a piece of garbage that worked perfectly fine before. I've never been so disappointed in a purchase!.
While traveling, this is not a pleasant odor. This product is a complete disaster! No, not in the literal sense. I finally plugged it in to charge my son's switch while we were on the road and was greeted by the acrid stench of BURNING ELECTRONICS within 10 seconds! It was BURNING HOT when I reached to unplug. The car now smells like burnt plastic and electronic components. And I won't be able to come back because the window has closed.
